forgiveness:To be scoring goals for a low table team means you do well facing good defenders. Scoring against Newcastle as a Mancity player and scoring against Mancity as a Newcastle player is never the same. 6 Likes |

Joebie:someone hyped the plateau united Vs MFM match to me so I had to go check YouTube. I was disappointed. That off-key commentary was still there, then the officiating. The fans have improved though, in attitude. That red would've gotten a rush from the stands. But then again, after 1-1 and final whistle, the MFM players were jubilating like Asif they were in a CAF final and we're pressed to the end the way Arsenal did to Atletico..... SMH. Watched Barça Vs Mamelodi. Although they lost, I was just saying that this team would skin Enyimba anyday if they meet. very technical and tactically aware. I weep for NPFL. tortoise-like progress. A lecturer of sport science (Shuu that one no course for naija universities?) from SA, wrote an article. Been lecturing for a decade now. He sat and help formulate lots of what the SA league are currently doing and he's less than 35yrs..... Young blood will help us... Even all of us on this thread would change our league in 2years with fast growth.... |

Icon79:it concerns me that the best he can do is another white woman that looks plastic. Why can't these men at least go for women that still look like human beings and not science experiments? See his team mates like Leon Balogun, Bryan Idowu and Troost-Ekong, they are all dating white women, but their babes look like your everyday white girls. Their cheek bones haven't been enhanced by cosmetic surgery, neither are they walking around with surgically-enhanced duck lips. I know he's in England and as far as pretty white women go, that area is sorely lacking, but come on!...... I can never keep up with Iwobi's kind of lifestyle, so, please, I am not interested in him and I can bet you, he could never be interested in me. That one no be talk. I just dey look am like my brother, I would smack his head if this is the best whitey he could find See Troost babe now Can you compare her to whatever Iwobi is following? 1 Like |

My brother the truth is we have to change a lot of things in our school curriculum. Even those saddled with teaching need to be retrained with a new mentality in view. What Nigerian grassroots development needs is the young ones to be exposed to the basics of tactics and an introduction to the science of football. But who can change things when most of our soccer administrators still hold on to archaic approaches? In fact most Nigerians need to be reorientated. The real problem is not age or ignorance, but is the holding on to preconceived ideas passed on to us. Sadly, we can’t give our children what we don’t have. T daveP: |

Throw back video: Nigeria vs Bulgaria 1994 WC. 24 years later, I still don't understand why that Stoitchkov's free-kick goal was disqualified (at 1mins 35secs). Anybody with any Ideas? Note that deliberate attempt by Amokachi to deny Yekini Nigeria's first goal in a WC (45secs) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVycJU0QG98 1 Like 1 Share |

Icon4s: The ref signaled an indirect freekick or something like that. I think, that was the explanation, i heard at the time. |

Joebie:Sad one. Very sad one. Looking for the universities that would Open that as a new faculty, or the parents that would watch their kids pick that as course of study when law, medicine, and engineering is there. Typical naija parenting. Hmm. Lokosa doesn't know any iota of the burden on his shoulders yet. I hope he performs better than Mba that year and Rep the league well. Learnt a Malian is being owed 7milla in salary from warri wolves. He sued the club and FIFA said 3points be deducted or else Nigeria doesn't go to Russia. Imagine.. 1 Like |

Icon4s: there is really internal issue among the players, even after yekini scored i noticed no one went close to him. The freekick is legit goal and i must say a good keeper like rufai gives confidence to thr team, he didn't have to do too much but you could see he was well assured |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 6:16pm On May 17, 2018 |
Martz101: The freekick was not a legit goal. "If after signaling for a free kick the referee keeps his hand above his head then he is signaling for an indirect free kick, or IFK. An IFK is awarded for any foul not falling under the category of penal foul, or a foul which is not committed against opponents. A goal may not be scored from an IFK until it has touched another player. When signaling for an IFK, the referee will keep his hand up until after the ball has been kicked and touched by another player." 1 Like |

Bolowolowo:what are they supposed to marry? Most of them have been surrounded by white women, some were birthed by white women, men tend to gravitate towards women who remind them of their mothers, that is why when these mulatto players go for white ladies, i have no grudges. But them self-hating niggas be indirectly calling their mamas unattractive by following her stark opposite. 1 Like |
