Throw back video: Nigeria vs Bulgaria 1994 WC.

24 years later, I still don't understand why that Stoitchkov's free-kick goal was disqualified (at 1mins 35secs). Anybody with any Ideas?
Note that deliberate attempt by Amokachi to deny Yekini Nigeria's first goal in a WC (45secs)

The referee had his hands up signaling for an indirect freekick. We need to know what caused the foul first..

"An indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team when a player infringes certain technical requirements of the laws (e.g. touching the ball a second time following a restart, or the keeper touching the ball with his hands when a teammate has used his foot to pass it back to the keeper)."

Austin Opara (MFM FC)
Isiaka Oladuntoye (Enyimba FC)
Chinedu Ajana (Katsina United)
Raphael Ayagwa (Plateau United)
Destiny Ashadi (Katsina United)
Kelechi Nwakali (MVV Maastricht, Netherlands)
Alhassan Ibrahim (FK Austrian Wien, Austria)
Chidiebere Nwakali (Aberdeen FC, Scotland)
Usman Mohammed (Sarpsborg, Norway)
Dayo Ojo (Sunshine Stars)
Emem Eduok (Kasimpasa FC, Turkey)
Sadiq Umar (NAC Breda, Netherlands)
Tosin Omoyele (Plateau United)
Kadiri Samad (Lobi Stars)
Ibrahim Alhassan (Kano Pillars).
another set of Super Eagles brothers. We seem to have that every period.

The Kanu brothers, Utaka brothers, Kalu brothers and now, Nwakali brothers. It's good, but even better, we could see Kelechi Nwakali in that Mikel role and determine how effective he is

The freekick was not a legit goal.

"If after signaling for a free kick the referee keeps his hand above his head then he is signaling for an indirect free kick, or IFK. An IFK is awarded for any foul not falling under the category of penal foul, or a foul which is not committed against opponents. A goal may not be scored from an IFK until it has touched another player. When signaling for an IFK, the referee will keep his hand up until after the ball has been kicked and touched by another player."

Ok thanks for the lecture

I just discovered that our NPFL have only 1 camera for covering a match compared to EPL's 47 for covering, and 16 for other thing. Or more closely, the South African league that uses 34cameras for match coverage from good angles and replays. pls how true is this?

I think we have at least 2 cameras but my problem is the quality of these cameras.

At least he should rep the league well in camp (and I mean not disgrace the NPFL). Why are some junors making it seem like Lokosa is going to Russia already? trust OGN

daveP:
Sad one. Very sad one. Looking for the universities that would Open that as a new faculty, or the parents that would watch their kids pick that as course of study when law, medicine, and engineering is there. Typical naija parenting. Hmm.

Lokosa doesn't know any iota of the burden on his shoulders yet. I hope he performs better than Mba that year and Rep the league well.

Learnt a Malian is being owed 7milla in salary from warri wolves. He sued the club and FIFA said 3points be deducted or else Nigeria doesn't go to Russia. Imagine..

Most of them have been surrounded by white women, some were birthed by white women, men tend to gravitate towards women who remind them of their mothers, that is why when these mulatto players go for white ladies, i have no grudges. I dont expect you to find sense, I am a very deep thinker and most times I see what majority cant see. Again ,stop using ambiguous words like numerous because we dont have numbers. That you saw few white men european men come and marry Nigeria women is not enough to conclude its happening everywhere....I am a man who is very away of my environment. If you give a black man a choice to choose between a beautiful white woman and a beautiful black women na speed he go use rush the white woman...Thirsty niggas!!

I don't want to believe anyone here would NOT want to support the SE.

But what I know is some are already waiting by the corner just in case the team fails to say "I said it, I said it,". So the team performing Well or flopping is a win-win for them.

I for one advocated for Aiyenugba in the team. I have never been sold on Uzoho being our 1st choice. But Aiyenugba was not invited. Why didnt I come out here and start wailing about Aiyenugba's non-inclusion? Rohr has made his final decision on that so who am I?

If Uzoho finally gets the nod as number 1 God forbid me wishing he fails just so I can come and start shouting "I said it, I said it". Who "I said it" epp? Nigeria performing well is what matters for me.

It is a big blow and regret we are going to the WC with our goal keeping department being our weakest. But what can we do?

I see wisdom all over your post...
sometimes I wonder what inspires some folks to wish others failure just to prove their ugly stance
we have nothing to prove to anyone and we need no man's failure to validate our words...

use the internet. We all have access to it.

Even me, I am aware of some of these things Omanbala says, the internet is rife with simikar stories of rich black men going for white women, some of them even go as far as insulting black women to justify their useless beliefs. There is a certain NBA star who boldly stated that there is not one attractive dark-skinned woman in the world, he is married to a white woman. This guy is a renowned hater of black women, on the contrary you will not see ONE WHITE man calling all white women ugly. If you want to marry a white woman, must you also bring down black women?

Even Americans complain of this phenomenon, rich black men tend to marry white women to fulfill whatever self esteem issues they harbour. I wonder how you and komekn are clueless to this.

Black men are a disgrace to the black race more often than not.

I think that black athlete have a physiological problem...
I quite under stand that there exist inferiority complex issues in Africans relating with the white....

but still it doesn't play at all times in marital choice .

There are more black men married to white women than vice versa. If you want to do a small survey sef, just take a look at European footballers. How many Caucasian footballers are with black women and how many black footballers are with white women?

Is there no disparity? Is it that the white women are better behaved than their black counterparts?

Why Usman Muhammad? This guy has played just 1 minute in the Eliteserien.

We have the likes of Abdul Ajagun, Okechukwu Azubuike and we could have made a move for Ryan Sanusi or even Phillip Billing.

Also it would have a great opportunity to make moves on some players like Ademola Lookman. This is an unofficial friendly so we could even cap a player like Lookman without having to make an application to FIFA first.

It's understandable that majority of the players would have to be home-based, since the arrangement is put together to promote the NPFL.

it is the men committing these crimes, they are also the ones in prisons.

It is black women who should be running away from black men and not the other way around. In the US, there are more businesses owned by black women than black men and a higher education rate, so, for black men to start acting like the women are their problem is laughable. Marrying a white woman can never make someone any more than he actually is.
