Now I understand why Roma are showing fine solidarity for the Super Eagles. It is courtesy of one @MarkOtabor, a radio personality and sportscaster. When Roma did the impossible over Barca, he produced a clip showing his genuinely insane reaction to Roma's triumph over Barca in this season's UCL. This is why on Roma's handle... Their first/second tweet on the Super Eagles was captioned... "you've got our back, we got yours" showing the clip of Mark Otabor celebrating their crazy win over Barca while showing support in their tweet for the Super Eagles. They are famzimg the Eagles because of that one mark otabor clip hailing Roma's victory. Lol.... It is interesting how just one clip can make a club show some support to that person's nation especially in a year Italy missed out on the Worlds... How they even reported our provisional squad is wow... They put their club logo right next to NFF logo... Lol 16 Likes

Idowu, Obi, Simy Doubtful For DR Congo Friendly; Mikel, Ighalo Out Super Eagles left-back Bryan Idowu is set to miss the team’s farewell friendly game against the DR Congo on Monday May 28 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt due to FIFA’s new rule for players listed to play at the 21st World Cup starting next month in Russia. FIFA have told all 32 partcipating teams to ensure players listed for the World Cup observe a 10-day rest after their last game of the season as a means of ensuring they stay fresh. Idowu is likely to join 14 other Eagles stars who will miss the game due to the rule as the Russia-based defender is set to feature for his club Amkar Perm when they take a 2-0 lead to the Otkritie Arena on Sunday to play hosts FC Tambov in the second leg of the Russia Premier League qualification play-offs. Idowu was on for all 90 minutes in the first leg played on Thursday at the Zvezda Stadium. If he gets to play on Sunday, it means he will be ineligible for the DR Congo game. Already out of the game is team captain Mikel Obi who will be playing on Friday in the Chinese Super League as well as striker Odion Ighalo who will be in action with his Chinese club Saturday. Italy-based duo of Joel Obi of Torino and new invitee, Simeon Nwankwo, are also doubtful for the game if they should play for their respective Serie A clubs this weekend. EmmGee:This is true however I wonder if there was need to take both Fekir and Thauvin? Deschamps will most likely play Fekir on the wing unless he plays a 4-2-3-1 and even with that he wouldn't be first choice as a 10. |

Mujtahida: Somewhat true, black American women are the worst set of females you can come across and Nigerian women are fast becoming just like them with their bad attitude, baby mama drama, fake weave ons. I am shocked at the number of Nigerian women who think Kim Kardashian and Nikky Minaj are the the sshit not knowing those women are considered trash in America. I once heard Omotola said ''my bad'' and I was done! Blacks are innately ignorant ,especially the women ...Take Chimamanda for instance, that girl told the world audience that Igbos have lesbian marriages ,historically. I was shocked to hear such nonsense from a person who clams she reads everything...ffuccking slowpoke! Black American women claim they are strong ,educated and has what they termed ''black girl magic'' whatever the ffucck that means but 70% of their male children end up in the prison with no hope of ever redeeming their lives. Yes ,they are more educated than their men because they raise bunch of thugs without common sense and the system is designed to favor women. Whwn you say black women are more educated than black men in America you have to be very clear that this ONLY applies to black Americans NOT Africans because Nigeria men still rule the black race in that country....When they meet Nigeria men they meet real men who are way more richer 2 Likes |

Rewatching the Poland game and we were really not that bad. Shehu was a bit poor and we just lacked some cutting edge upfront but i feel, in a competitive game, we would have been more incisive. 6 Likes |

realpoacher: Now you understand why I have not been sold on Uzoho being our first choice. In previous WCs our goalkeepers were our major strong saving grace. Rufai, Ike Shorumun, And Enyeama. You saw the huge roles they played in galvanizing the defense and the team at large. You saw all those point blank saves. Does Uzoho fit into those big shoes? Na God go save us for this WC o. As far as I am concerned we are going to this WC without a recognized goalkeeper. |

Mujtahida: Some times it is good to go back and watch the Super Eagles of the 90s. The way they handled the ball with so much perfection, skill and confidence. That Amokachi's Chester, before he laid the ball to Finidi who crossed to Yekini for our first goal, was simply out of this world. Even the athletism you talked about. Look also at the France 98 games and Atlanta Olympics. Our current teams don't play that way any more. Including Rohr's Eagles. |

Mujtahida: And this generation of Nigerian men are any better. Some of you just sit in a corner and start to judge others. Are there not also uneducated, unexposed, arrogant Nigerian men? What don't they do? Fraud? Drugs? Demean women? A man that has never met you will see you and call you ashawo because you are living alone, or see you driving a car and assume it's a man who bought it for you. You open a business and people assume that you must have gotten your capital by sleeping around. Some body will start shouting 'I have two of you at home as wife.' How many men are told to remain in abusive marriages because 'what will people say.' Such things are demeaning and wrong whether you want to agree or not so please do not insult the women fighting against these things especially because you do not experience them. They have their faults, they may overdo it, their approach may be wrong, but they are there because things like this continue to happen. With all due respect sir, please stick to discussing football. One of the greatest crimes in Nigeria is to be a 'successful' single Nigerian woman. 3 Likes |
