Depends on how you prepared it. I only garnish with ingredient and salt I don't boil I fry directly before I cook stew with it. Very delicious I prefer to other fishes and it does not have fat. cheesy

That fish is not sweet when cooked but tastes better when smoked. It's just big! I think it's the senior brother of panla sha!

LadyPrecy:
recipe for the sauce please?

I boiled my gizzard and seasoned it
While this was cooking. I sliced onion, pepper and green pepper and set aside.
I diced my plantain and fried. The gizzard was ready by then. I diced it and set aside. Then I blended onions and fresh pepper. I put some oil on the fire, low heat. The added the blended pepper and onion paste, while stirring, I added my seasoning, maggi, salt, curry, thyme, ginger et garlic paste. When it got a little dry, I added my tin tomatoes. Fried together, I added a bit of the gizzard stock. Allowed to fry while stirring. Then I added the earlier sliced pepper, onions and green pepper. Allow to cook for a while, then added the friend plantain and gizzard.

I hope this helps

Beef mince sauce. This is my Go to sauce for almost anything. Yam, mashed potatoes, rice, pasta etc.

I use a mixture of mutton mince and lean beef Mince. I add mutton for its unique flavor
Then added lots of fresh veggies. Sweet corn, peas, carrots and onion. Also added diced liver and kidney for extra crunch.
Added some freshly ground tomato and bell peppers to loosen d sauce and give consistency . Yummy.!
