meanwhile seeing pictures of iwobi always coming in with his dad gives me a picture of him lacking maturity and might actually transit to his game.

common this dude is 21 and should act like a man not a daddy boy

You really should not make deductions about players based on media pictures.

So what will you say of Neymar and his Dad or Messi and his Dad. It's obvious you haven't been to many players lounges otherwise you would understand this as normal and a regular occurrence in football.

Pavon is far more important to Argentina than Icardi. If you have seen how they play you won't bother asking about Icardi. They are deadly on the flanks especially with Pavon.

higuin is not better than icardi, we know the reason they dropped him

Just six defenders?

If left to me I can drop our defenders from 10 to 7 so I can accommodate an extra CF in Simi Nwankwo. The thing is most of us here are attached to certain players and would not want to see them dropped. What are you going to do with 8 defenders when only 4 can start? Besides changing of defenders does not really impact a game that much. It is the changes we make upfront that changes the course of a game. So we should have more options in the attack.

I never made a pick between Musa and Joel because they do not play the same position but I will definitely pick an inform Joel over Etebor,Onazi, Ogu and Agu. Musa could be a liability some a lot of times.
So a Joel that is injury tormented can not be a liability?

Those free to air cables only had News, Music and movies channels.

The footie heads I am talking about were my neighbors. I can tell you. that I did not watch the 1997 Champions League final live but they did. A few days later, I watched a full replay match in their house. And it was on one of the sports channels on the cable satellite devices.

e get another style wey pass wetin we see in November?

Deadly from which flanks? Where did their deadly flanks go when Spain molested them with 6 goals? Even the two goals they scored against us, none came from the flanks. Their deadly flanks could not even do anything against basic Russia.

Abeg, which Argentina are you talking about? undecided

if you followed the discussion, you would note that I continually mentioned 'suspicion' of the act.

Relationships have ended based on suspicions, marriages too. I think I already made that clear. I also clarified that I am not judging anyone's personality, but the career its self.

Like you said, women throw themselves at these footballers, so, their career puts them in very dangerous positions.

I don tire abeg, I just dey repeat the same thing for three days now.

I am not Usher or Balotelli or even Davido and I dont consider myself to be rich. I drive a modest car in Nigeria.

But I find myself being propositioned regularly even in the bank and at church. But not once have I found myself in a position of compromise with these females that just want to belong or have a bit of your money. I don't have any illusions about that.

I find the idea of jumping into such liasons decidedly perverse and unappealing.

So temptation comes to all, but it's about your personal conviction not the circumstance of socail environment.

Iwobi Joins Onazi, Aina, Ekong Uyo, Eagles To Train At 5pm
By Kayode Ogundare in Uyo

The Super Eagles pre-World Cup training camp opened in Uyo on Monday morning and Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi is the latest player to hit the Ibom Meridian Hotel Camp thereby bringing to five the number of players in Camp.

Iwobi joined vice-captain Ogenyi Onazi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Ola Aina and Bursaspor of Turkey defender William Troost-Ekong as early arrivals.

The Arsenal star touched down at the Ibom International Airport around 12noon aboard a plane from Lagos accompanied by his father Chuka and he was immediately driven off after completing airport formalities.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will have their first feel of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium turf at 5pm after they would have been boosted by the arrival of other players expected in camp.

According to team co-ordinator Patrick Pascal, coach Gernot Rohr and other members of the technical crew are already present in Uyo and itching to get on with the team’s training programme.

The Super Eagles are expected to trade tackles with the Leopards of Congo D R next Monday in Port Harcourt before proceeding to London where they will play the Three Lions of England at the Wembley Stadium on 2 June.

Local channels used to show Champions 'league' (used to be called champions cup) games live.

I remember watching Ajax vs Juve back to back.

No i won't do the same, my 21 year old son should be brave, i believe this will be affecting his attitude in the pitch.

Football is about mental toughness, bravely then the skills. iwobi lacks toughness, i believe upbringing could tell alot in ones game play.
I am sure his dad doesn't travel with him for Arsenal's games sha. we can only speculate but iwobi snr and jnr knows why they choose to do so.

I agree Joel should be dropped if he is not 100% fit but if he is fit, I don't see any reason he should be dropped.

At one point, he was our best CMF when he played together with Mikel Obi.

His injury record alone is enough to drop him

I had to check the moniker saying this, bros really,7 defenders?? or maybe you dont have plans of making it far in the worldcup.

each position should have atleast 2 players and the goal keeper taking and added spot, remember injuries because they have lesstime to rest between games and even after a long season not forgeting cards too
