If left to me I can drop our defenders from 10 to 7 so I can accommodate an extra CF in Simi Nwankwo. The thing is most of us here are attached to certain players and would not want to see them dropped. What are you going to do with 8 defenders when only 4 can start? Besides changing of defenders does not really impact a game that much. It is the changes we make upfront that changes the course of a game. So we should have more options in the attack.

If there's one thing I don't like it is this stretching of the football season right into WC preparation season. It's too much na. Won't this players rest? Why can't FIFA make a rule for the football season of teams in Europe to end 3 weeks before preparation for WC begins.

It’s a case of trying to help his career. Also consider Usman Muhammad. Even Kelechi Nwakali. These players should be in our team C at most.

MetalJigsaw:
It doesn't make him cheap or a fool bro. In fact, it's a privilege and opportunity for him. It's apparent that Ideye is experiencing a nosediving career.A very good player though. But Imagine being declared surplus to requirement and being offloaded by a lowly club in China to another mediocre fold in Malaga. Can one conveniently recall when last he had a good game as a footballer? On what premise would he have merited it if he made the 30-man list?v

Saw some more highlights of Samuel Chukwueze.. That boy is a baller. He missed a chance where he beat like 4-5 players. Without a doubt, he will be in the first team next season.

He is ahead of Nwakali in terms of playing top flight football. Sometimes, it is better not to sign for a big team...

Back then in umuahia when he was still with Diamond Academy, I was assigned to mark this yeye boy sometime when he was hired as a mercenary in Michael Okpara Uni Umudike. Me wey dem dey call Marcelo then, guy if u c wetin Chukwueze do me as I dey left back Dat hot afternoon, u go pity me.

Totally different things. Shorter can be seen negatively. But darker? There is nothing funny about that statement. We are talking color here. If I said the opposite, would it seem out of place? If yes, then we have a problem.

If only he can stay disciplined on and off the pitch, he would achieve great great things.

I think you really need to stop the way you think, not everything about color is racism, this is the major problem of black community, always thinking we are the victim

We Africa use the word his a white man, white man land, white boy but we feel is offensive when they say black man, black American, black man home.

the change you need is the way you think

When I said I don't Chima and Deji, it doesn't mean I don't know dem. It means I don't know much about their progress in their academy or wherever dey are.

Besides, I knew Chima long time ago when he was in Bayern Munichen academy before he left to another club.

In short, I followed him until he moved den and afterwards but he didn't really draw attention hence the need to drop the project.

No footballer is injury free yes,but Joel own case with injury is kind of special.. We shouldn't take the risk.. remember what happened to us when Onazi got injured against France in 2014...

BTW, so Joel is now defensive midfielder.. prior to the March friendly, his fans made us believe that he could play the DM,CM and AM role well... If the DM is his main role then why take the risk? we already got Ndidi and Onazi for that role..

There is nothing special about Joel's case. Balogun has been more injury prone this season.

Joel has always been a CM/DM and on his day is as good as all the other options we have.

We struggled with Onazi's injury because we did not carry alone capable subs. That is not the case now.
