Good one from the Catholic Church. Let the international community know what is happening in Nigeria under buhari's destructive regime.

To what end? I'm sure they know the killings happens in the northern parts of the country so why cause traffic gridlock in Lagos over that?

It affects our Christian brothers in the North. We have to show solidarity.

As far as I am concerned, killings around the country are not committed by herdsmen anymore. This dastardly act is now the hand work of indigenes where the killing are extremely experienced.

Pls leave the Fulani herdsmen out of this....

Good development. Let the church encourage members to go register to vote and also to participate in elections.
We have the power to decide our own fate, let's use it.
Apathy to elections by christians is as good as promoting islamists to positions of authority.

Of course, it makes sense to conclude that it's the indigenes that are killing their own families and burning down their own villages, while Miyetti Allah is so sure that the indigenes would continue to kill themselves if anti open grazing law is not reversed.

Prayer For A Peaceful Procession

Almighty God,

We bless you for our lives and we give you praise for your abundant mercy and grace that we receive.
We thank you for your faithfulness even though we are not that faithful to you.
Lord Jesus, we ask you to give us all around peace in our mind, body, soul and spirit.
We want you to heal and remove everything that is causing stress, grief, and sorrow in our lives and our land Nigeria.

Please guide our path in our procession today and through life and make our enemies be at peace with us.
Let your peace reign in our families, at our place of work, businesses, schools, hospitals and everywhere we pass.

May our intentions for this procession rise up to you our God like sweet-smelling incense.
Father hear and answer our prayers.

When we go out, let your angels of peace go ahead of us to lead the way, be behind us to shield us from evil, lift us up at the moment our strength fails, be above us to usher your blessings on us, and inspire us to walk in peace. May thy angels stay by our side when we return.

This we ask, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Nationwide traffic advisory. The protests are taking place across the country. Find out the location in your city.

Lagos

Mass will hold at St. Leo Catholic Church, on Toyin Street, Ikeja, by 10.00 a.m. and immediately after the mass, there will be a peaceful procession from the church to the Lagos State Governor’s Office at Alausa, Ikeja.

Benin

Peaceful protest march from St Paul’s Catholic Church on Airport Road, Benin, to Holy Ghost Cathedral on  Mission Road

Abuja

Will begin at the Christian Ecumenical Center and then ends at the Pro-Cathedral in Garki.

Ibadan

In Ibadan, the solemn protests being organised by the Catholic Archdiocese of Ibadan will begin with a procession from the Seminary of SS Peter and Paul, Bodija, and end at the Govenor’s office.
Calvary greetings. Benin own is Holy Cross Cathedral & not Holy Ghost as stated by you.
