Martz101:are you sure you know that Morocco team well? please stop sayn things you have little idea of ... none of those Morocco Chan team were in their main.national team...virtually all their national team players are Europe based. with many from Spanish and Dutch academics...... please try rewatch Nigeria vs Cameroon match in uyo again please.... that flip pass from Aina to moses is one thing elderson never did all through the match he played... aina is way beyond the traditional kind of left back who sits back and don't join the attack.... the match against Algeria and Cameroon shows he can be very useful in nigeria counter attacking play than elderson. 1 Like |

Do you know Morocco qualified for Russia with maximum points taken and no goals conceded in a group that had Ivory Coast? You people should take it easy abeg. We all support the Eagles. Humility017:I know Khalid Boutaib is their usual first choice striker, but right now, be honest, who would you pick? |

K.Nwakali didn't flop. He did good for a midfielder who came in as a LW in his first eredivisie game and scored with a fine header. He went on to feature in nine games where he got gamt time here and there mostly from the bench. His highest minutes tally in a single game was 67 mins. How is he a flop then? He had one goal in 9 games in the league in which he featured for 15mins, 15 Mins, 14mins, 61mins, 16mins, 4mins, 45mins, 59mins and 67 mins all respectively in which he played AM, CM, LW, RW. So how in the world did he flop? Abeg Egbon... Be honest naa... Haba naa. In the Cup games, he played 90mins once as AM and shone in a 3-0 win. His next cup game he played 88mins bagging am assist. His next and last was just for 7mins as RW. When he was loaned again to MVV, after the first half of the season, it was for more playing time opportunities as he was not getting enough with VVV Venlo. And guess what? He showed his class by coming up with 4 goals and 1 assist in 16 appearances as AM majorly. He was involved in lots of second assists (passes that lead to assists or what we call the assist before the assist). I took myvtime to watch his game on couple of occasions Egbon. Kelechi is class. He will still grow and in him, I feel we have another true heir to Mikel's throne. In all, he is not WC bound... He will keep growing. But it is certain that his quality has justified why Rohr had him and Osimhen in the picture of things for a while when he was asked last year about blooding in of youngsters for the future. Rohr saw that game between Nigeria B and Atletico. Immediately after K.Nwakali scored, the camera showed Rohr's immediate reaction.. It was that of approval and a knowing that indeed the lad is class and one for the future of the team. Kelechi's time is coming... His rise has been steady and he has not flopped. Let us please have perspective here. For Russia 2018, I'm afraid the door is already closed. I should be first to clamour for his invite now but I won't. I believe in the right time. Sometimes the right time is not always now. We have our WC midfield already but it is nice to see a small beautiful part of what lies ahead for the Super Eagles Post-Russia. forgiveness: 1 Like 1 Share |

Humility017: football is more of 50% raw talent and 20% knowledge aquired and 30%hardwork to improve, some of our players move directly from the NPL team straight to European first team. So many youth players in England never made it to the first team, why? less talent 2 Likes |

@First point.... I laugh. An Ivory Coast that no longer boasts the kind of attack that make one shivers?? The only thing going for Cote D Ivoire now is their midfield collection of Franck Kessie, Jean Michael Seri, Serey Die, Fofana, and more. Then up top they have menacing Zaha on the wings. Abi na Jonathan Kodjia wan put fear for pesin body? Man... Cote d' ivoire's attack is weak. #Fact There is no way they could have gotten a goal against that Moroccan defence (Benatia, Hakimi and co). They have no goals banger. Also, A group having cote d ivoire still does not compare to A group of Algeria, Cameroun and Zambia and then you add Nigeria to top it up.... Man! I was telling you hours ago that this was the toughest WC Qualifying group in African WC qualifying history and you are here talking Côte d ivoire.... Na wa for u ooo. Abeg give credits to whom it is due biko. You cannot tell me you wamt the best for the team yet still talk down on the team's achievements and quality. It is not in line with your show of support. Keep things balanced. @Second point... I will pick Boutaib everyday of the week over El Kaabi. I know that Moroccan team so well. I even reckon their midfield to be arguably the best in Africa (Ziyech, El Ahmadi, Boussoufa). What Boutaib brings and has in terms of clinicality, European experience and exposure and box movements, my brother, El Kaabi is still a learner for him. And yes I have watched El Kaabi play. Humility017: don't confuse your self, i prefer aina to the worldcup than Echiejile, but the truth remain that his still yet to impress, we all know about sure 20 players going to the world cup, his place is not a sure bet. Aina got his opportunity first before Ebuehi, but the few opportunity ebuehi got he made good use of it, Aina is still not there for me. i hope he makes the worldcup team |

Unlimited22: If Athletico played like that against a full strength Nigerian squad, They will lose. It is easy to score when you want against the players that they played against. It will be harder against more seasoned pros. |

Humility017: Shehu Abdullahi is a mediocre player. He's is never the best RB we have. Where is Sunday Mba today? Late Stephen Keshi played oligarchy system to the extreme to the extent the best players in Europe where left to fade away. He thought he could raise most of those players to world standard. Can you please show me one player Keshi turned to world class not to talk of average players? Kelechi Nwakali flopped in the Eredivise and did not blow away minds with MOTM, TOTW or player of the month even after he was demoted to the lower division, did he? How are sure the ones that MOTM, TOTW etc in a better league could have done better than Kelechi Nwakali yesterday if given the chance? Did Kelechi Nwakali did something exceptional to had deserved an invitation in the first place? Where you among those who justified the invitation of Simy siting performance in a better league? So, exceptional rules is used for certain types of players while performance in a top league is the bascis standard measurement used for certain types of players in a country like ours!? If you are for the good of the Super Eagles then you should have realised that many clubs will no longer be interested in Nigerian players once they discovered that they can't get into the National team no matter how good they are because they want players that good enough and marketable for profit. You don't expect dem to buy mediocre players. This Oligarchy structure of inviting certain players from a lowly leagues and bench warmers association has been trending for many years now Like I said, with this two faced double standard measurement used, I don't think there shall be peace in this country. |

tbaba1234: A make shift Eagles team that was just put together in 3days. It was very obvious in the defense. They were only just tactically superior to our boys last night. Apart from that our boys really played them. Our main Super Eagles team will beat that Athletico team hands down. Some people just like to talk down on their country men. That is it. 2 Likes |
