Please you guys should quit making all these unsubstantiated claims and posting it out here as gospel. The same way most people here claimed, without any evidence, that Obi Mikel is Antonio Conte's plans. That he plans to give Mikel a "free role in the midfield". At that time I laughed them off, not because I didn't want it to be true but because nobody provided any evidence to substantiate that claim. Bottom line is, we don't know if Iwobi is Emery's plans. He hasn't said so. In fact, the only player he mentioned by name during his median press conference was Mesut Ozil. When they asked him about Wilshere and others, he said that he wasn't going to discuss individual players. So let's leave it at that until he shows his cards. O pari edi287: 3 Likes |

Joebie: U now talk rubbish these days. Chidiebere is shortened to either Chidi or Ebere(Ebele) . My name is Kelechi, it's shortened to KC, reason some people call Iheanacho, KC. Even the name "Iheanacho (Ifeanacho) is shortened to Acho not Nacho. Where forgiveness take enter this matter I no know. U guys should try to free up ur minds. Some time ago I wrote here Dat Ajala was a common name in my place, hence Simon Daddy Ajala could be from my community, person begin talk rubbish say Ajala has always been a yoruba name as though we were fighting. Icon79: Mikel was in Conte's plans until he decided to leave for the Olympics in the middle of pre-season. Conte did not take that very well so conte froze him out. Same thing, he did to Diego Costa. 2 Likes |

Icon79:Same way we didn't know for certain the Arsenal board appointed him because they were awed by his in depth analysis of every player on the team including some of the youth players till surprise surprise Gazidis confirmed the same thing. As for this Mikel argument, both are not even remotely similar. I don't know why and how you made that comparison 1 Like 1 Share |

I don't know why we are all more worried about Moses absence than the coaching staffs do? Let 's leave Rohr to deal with the issue. Moses still remain an important player in this team. Taking him out will equals to clipping the Eagles' wings. I pray you, tell me an eagle that has ever flown without wings. I'm glad Rohr knows better. 1 Like |

This Nwakali hype has more to do with the TYPE of player he is than his capability at the moment. Barring Mikel, our midfield is filled up with Destroyers/b2b midfielders. You could make an argument for Ogu being a regista but he isn't too great at that role. Nwakali can play alongside Mikel either in front of him or behind. Nice qualities he has, but it's too late to experiment. Fact is he hasn't had an impressive season and yes it'd be crazy to suggest we drop Ogu or whomever just off one game. He had a good game and let's leave it at that. 4 Likes |

Again, we only heard that claim from Gernot Rohr ... claiming that Mikel told him. And by the way, Mikel later denied it. Either way, we didn't hear Conte's side of the story. Don't get me wrong, Antonio Conte keeps a grudge. Like you said, he drove Costa out of Chelsea. And he froze out David Luiz after he criticized his tactics. But what I am saying is until we hear the coach opens his mouth to publicly state that so and so player is on his plans, It's better to keep all speculations to the barest minimum. My own be say, Alex Iwobi should leave Arsenal if he gets a good offer. I don't trust Emery to use him much .... he has no backbone. This is the same coach who allowed Neymar to be running the show at PSG O pari tbaba1234: |

Humility017:lol @ sympathy.. every team was a given a max of 35 players to submit to fifa in case someone from under listed 23 gets injured prior to when the tournament starts.. if by now a country does not know the players it is supposed to put in those 35man list then that country isn't serious |

Icon79: Mikel obviously told Rohr personally. Rohr is not a rumor monger. I have no doubt that he was told by Mikel. Mikel was still a player for Chelsea so he did not want to be unprofessional but these things are discussed privately. It is not 'speculation'. At the start of preseason, Mikel was actively involved in games but he came back from the olympics and was frozen out. Conte's antecedents show that he is the type of coach that keeps a grudge. 2 Likes |

EEGA: Strikers are not all about goals. According to pundits Firmino is the league's most complete PLAYER, yet he is not among the 5 highest league scorers. In addition, the only reason Zidane will not have to play Benzema tomorrow is because of fan pressure, yet he has a poor goal return. Football is beyond the back of the net, brother. |

TheLoneCitizen: Firmino is not a striker but he is contributing goals and assists. The striker's major role is getting goals. That is the bottom line. We do not have a Cristiano Ronaldo that the team can play for. |
