Good morning Mamas, happy weekend
My first question here. I have been on peeping mode

Please my DD had 3 boils on her head 2weeks ago and I took her to see the doctor who prescribed Augmentin and Vitamin c which dried everything up. But yesterday I noticed another one on her head plus some other rash like with pus (not boil) and it's moving to her neck area .
Picture attached to see what it looks like.
It's strange to me because I have never experienced skin Issues with my other kids

Has anyone experienced this? Please what can I use?

Kindly help me please.

Get silverbird, add a little quantity of it to her cream or shear butter and mix, apply to the affected part. You may also always add silverbird to her body cream, by so doing you won't withness any of these irritations.

Worked for my daughter, after all consultions, treatments, medications, nothing worked. A nurse at their vaccination clinic saw her skin and advised i mix silverbird with her cream and apply, since then i have never had to waste money on creams/consultations and medications.

Ensure you are getting the original silverbird, so many fake ones out there. To ensure i am getting the original one i always buy at medplus/heathplus. So you can try to get one at any of those health stores.

Is silverbird not pepperish on the skin? My mother told me it irritated the skin of one baby she did omugwo for after she mixed it in his cream.

Is silverbed not too harsh?? The day I mistakenly used the water I used for steam inhalation(added silverbed) to massage her body, she didn't sleep that day, was busy crying and turning around. Dunno if the thing touched her hp.

Do you know that you can get a collection of over 500 titles of foreign children books five times cheaper than at shop right? And at during the holidays at 15 percent diacount.

You will get more free teddy bear just by visiting my shop too, especially if you are staying within Canaan land.

All items purchased within now till June 12th will get a copy of a lesson book which addresses his or her age grade word spelling bee from Disney corporation

Happy Children's Day! We will always enjoy our little blessings...even when they flush our phones down the toilet cry

Please the blog is up! Check out and follow www.nefescorner.com for as much info as you want. If you want to ask questions, that's the best place to leave a comment (I'm kinda wrapping up on NL). Lots of interesting topics by so many knowledgeable people coming up (by the way, those that came for the Children's Fair, hope you learned, I wish I could have met some of you because there were some people I wanted to direct y'all to. I got so much from it and had a chance to sit one-on-one with MMWN, a truly lovely and accomplished woman).

So yeah, www.nefescorner.com. Thank you!

modupsie and every mum experiencing this,

Please don't burst it. Please check a few pages back for my post about which dermatologists to go. This skin issue IS GOING ROUND NOWADAYS AND IT IS ATOPIC DERMATITIS. This will be cleared up with antibiotics but needs a Dermatologist or a Paediatrician (who has experience in dermatology). Ask your doctor to give you a contact for one (a good doctor KNOWS his/her peers, if your doctor is unable to send you to a specialist of another branch of medicine, that may be a sign you're not dealing with a doctor (a medical lab scientist was caught running a clinic, Nigerians will do anything for money). I've seen a lot of bad advice passed around here very confidently and it is one reason I stopped posting. Please.

I have seen that pus-filled eruptions on babies and we just got ours cleared up too (5 days medication). It looks like acne not a boil, right? Is your baby covered in rashes that won't go away? You shouldn't be using a cream on it. I will advise you to take your child to a Dermatologist. That is who helped with ours because the Paediatricians tend to prescribe an anti-bacterial ointment (won't work as it's not topical and you need to treat from the inside).

Dermatologists are at:

General Hospital, Lagos Island (most major GHs have a Skin Clinic)
Healing Stripes, Oniru
Emel Hospital, Festac
Lekki phase 1 (I know 2 there but can't remember the name of the clinic. There used to be one at Childcare Hospital but I think he's left, but go and ask their paed, he should have a contact for him)

You need a Derm. Not a pharmacist (someone ignored me and went to a pharm who proceeded to really fvck up her child's own). Hth

I was scared to use it for my girl when i was asked to, but it worked. We tried all medications and it was worsening her skin condition until a nurse asked us to try silverbird.

I dont use it directly with her skin, and just a very little drop on little measure of cream i put aside. No more skin irritaions since then.
