Do I have the highest 5 star trip on nairaland

66 is a good number, very respectable.
But you are not even in the race compared to the guys here. Little me here outstrips you with about 450. Talk less of the chairmen.

And your rating, Oh my God your rating.

Nice try. wink

Despite the urgency to start doing something, if you do vehicle inspection, you are supposed to enlighten the car owner or make your observations about the car known upfront.

If you take a car that would affect your performance, except the driver has a great personality, believe me he would be labeled a bad driver and wouldn’t be able to defend himself because he never make known any observations before collecting the car keys.

If you observed anything during car inspection, make it known and have the car owner fixed it (if it can be fixed) before you sign Agreement and collecting car key. If you don’t make your observations known during car inspection and you now start giving stories when you’re supposed to deliver your weekly rental, I think that is a little too late.

I fully agree with what you have said. Additionally, a one day test drive will not be a bad idea for someone who is willing to pre-pay or front a security deposit.

There are some dead tokunbos.
Pristine condition is my word.

And preference for tokunbo is personal.

To see a Nigerian used Uber car in Good condition is like Ogunvic managing Dru3 fleet of cars. grin

You are rite my brother.. By the way raining season is here.. Me am taking my time.. Am waiting for the first batch of cars to fall victim to the rain.. The people that will suffer are ones that uber is the only source of income.. For a fact I will slow down bringing in cars ...once the rain settle down, will hear stores that touches.. Partners if you like continue driving your cars in the rain and all the bad places.. My advice which am not trying to force anybody, if you have a few fleet the ones that are down coz of the affect of the rain, just park quietly o till the rain either stops or roads are better.. There is no point fixing the same issues again that was caused by the rain and than put it out their to cause the same problem.. This is a mechanic season or they go chop money clean... " What a great time to be alive "

Taxi App Guy is the number one fleet management company in Abuja. We manage vehicles for people who want to register and make money with their car from ridesharing, predominantly Uber and Taxify.

We also have resources for those who are more interested in managing their vehicles themselves. Our resources are for new investors or current owners who want to save money, gain knowledge or protect their investment on Uber.

Purchase the Guide to uber book and get free resources for securing your business.

The Guide to Uber is a book for partner-drivers who intend to register and make money with Uber. The book comes with a lot of freebies.

Here is a list of our free resources for protecting your Uber business.

1. Partner-Driver rental agreement : A rental agreement template that lays out relationship between car owner and renter.
This document protects car owner in case of a dispute.

2. Partner-Driver hire purchase agreement: A hire purchase agreement template that lays out relationship between Car Owner and hirer. This document protects car owner in case of a dispute.

3. Guarantor form: A guarantor form to provide your driver with for verifying his/her guarantor.

4. Vehicle handover, inspection and return checklists: These are checklist that detail the exact condition of your vehicle in diagram and written form. It details the working conditions of all systems on the vehicle at handover, inspection and return. Any discrepancy discovered between the 3 documents determines whether vehicle was returned in the shape it was given out or damaged by hirer.

We can also write a feasibility study particularly tailored to your investment needs.

You are absolutely right.

One of the difficult things I have done in this business is driver recruitment.

A bad driver is a bad driver whether you collect Security Deposit or not and Yes, Security Deposit wouldn’t solve all issues but it reduce your loss in case of default.

There is no standard, you can choose to collect Security Deposit or not. The final decision is yours but please for the seek of your investment don’t ever compromised in your drivers recruitment.

Do follow you gut. If something doesn’t feel right, believe me it’s not right.

I wish you the best of luck in your driver recruitment.

grin if i can understand u better ,does it mean after the first driver uses the tokunbo and drop it then the car hv no value anymore cos it has been used on uber .From ur views ,I guess ur a driver partner who havent bought a car for rental before.

[quote author=chillex8 post=67991523]

The ideal way is for drivers to pay rental on Day
