That's the standard for most uber drivers.

~300km a day.

Instead of selling the car, we can do Hire Purchase but am sure if they can’t collect Nigeria used for rental, they would reject it on Hire Purchase.

Also we wouldn’t be able to sell the car as registered.

Naija Used is bad for business. grin cheesy

Please as a driver - partner, what’s important is to do vehicle inspection and make sure the car wouldn’t affect your performance before you collect it.

Whether Na Tokunbo (Accidented) or Nigeria Used (Non-Accidented).

Any observations you made during inspection make sure the car owner fixed it before you signed the Agreement and collect keys to the car.

Make a thorough check of the car.

Jack shouldn’t be missing, C-Caution must be available, A/C must be in a good working condition etc.

If anything about the car would affect your work or performance and you accept the car, you’re setting up yourself for failure.

If your customs document is genuine and car is in good shape, why not?

Question you should ask car owners is;

Why would you advertise a dead car for partnership

It's SCAM.

And to some of you car-owners wanking over my earlier post, your day of reckoning is underway.

Keep fielding dead cars. Ok.

In my opinion, its risky considering the distance about 900miles (that's like 5days of his regular trips in lagos). I will also suggest that the car be taken for checks with your mechanic when he returns, major part of the trip will be through bad roads.

Moreso how long will the trip last? If he returns before the week runs out will the car be on the road for the remainder of the week?

I can speak for myself and my car.

I can also advise drivers like I have been doing to do vehicle inspection and shouldn’t collect dead cars.

Would also advised Car Owner never to tolerate driver default. Zero Tolerance for Default.

During vehicle inspection, ask to drive the car.

Before vehicle inspection, asked questions from experts about the automobile.

After vehicle inspection, still asked questions before you sign any agreement or collect car key.

Drivers should learn about cars, Google is your friend. Is the car fuel efficient, likely fault associated with the vehicle e.g Honda with leg problem. You need to have basic knowledge and confirm that all things are good.

Also drivers shouldn’t drive cars collected dangerously and recklessly. Cars aren’t boat or ship, so don’t go swimming with car in Lekki just because it’s not your own. What goes around comes around.

We no dey w-a-n-k (Sorry for the spacing, Nairaland dey change my words to something else) you, we are just having fun because car dealers (Tokunbo or Naija Used) wouldn’t allow you test drive a car you want to buy for a day before you make payment, so why would you expect a car owner give you a car for test driving for a whole day. Whose account would the money made during test driving be deposited. grin

And do you mean TIWA SAVAGE or TIAMIYU SAVAGE in V/Island. grin

I fully agree with what you have said. Additionally, a one day test drive will not be a bad idea for someone who is willing to pre-pay or front a security deposit.
A new driver that doesn't know Jack about cars, what does he know he's testing apart from just moving the car around. Owners should just try and be sincere about the condition of their cars
