Na still the surprise matter we dey na lol
asha80:
personally I believe they will do much better that they are expected to do.. not much hype on this team unlike Gerard, lampard, Beckham days... also they have good strikers in vardy and Kane but winning the world cup?? no way... those u17 and u20 triumphs I have to admit was surprising

If you know you want to enjoy your WC this summer... I will keenly advise that you all who are irritated with Egbon Forgiveness' rants and wailtings should as much as possible ignore, jump and pass over his posts. They are not for the Unity and solidarity of this team, Our darling Super Eagles..... For those of you who can bear to read through (like me) it is better to know how to engage him and how far to go in a discourse with him because if you are not careful, he will bring you down to his level of childhish nit-picking and isolated irrelevant talks and you will be stained and lost in the sea of his many branches of headless arguments all in a bid to keep his wailing campaign on.

It is his right to comment and say whatever he likes... But again you have the power to ignore... So ignore. Thank you.

I doubt if John Ogu will not be in the list. Agu & Joel, one will miss out.
I thought Ogu was on the list.Yes you are right either Joel or Agu gona be dropped but let see it as a battle between Ogu,Etebo,Joel and Agu.

In his case, such medication can prove fatal to his career if care is not taken. Some risks are just too high to contemplate. If the third and final scan says he is ruled out for good, we should all live with the situation and move on like soldiers. Simon's loss is a big blow and I hope this is the only big blow we take in going to the mundial.

I can imagine this dudes desperation..

But seriously eeehh, I think some injuries are highly exaggerated.. Cos even in my local league, I know some folks who play with knocks, and injuries grin for days maybe weeks..
I know it's kinda dangerous but I think a kind of medicine or drug can be injected to keep him going for some time.. If he is that important oo

Well those other "Greatestses" had something Leo Messi never had with Argentina - that is, a strong supporting cast. And you gotta ask yourself why.

Aguero is a world class player at ManCity but he never plays well for Argentina. Why?
Higuin always goes missing in big games. Why??
Angel Di Maria always gets injured before the crucial games in every tournament. Why

Messi can't do it all by himself. No one can. It's a team sport and takes 11 players.

O pari

who were the supporting cast for maradona in 1986, where the around maradona better than present day Argentina players?

nonsense

Two scans in Uyo and Abuja have ruled him out, but oga/NFF want to be stubborn and go to London, for what?

Even if the London scan doesn't rule him out entirely, he will probably be on the sidelines long enough to miss two games, so, why must he occupy space nitori olorun?

not total nonsense, he was rule out for 2 to 3 weeks last week, i believe his injury is not too serious, the london scan could rule on his favour.

lets just watch

from some tweets I have seen it seems he hasn't played well for France though whenever he played.. as for benzema players do well for themselves in their clubs daily so it is no news.. the issue is if he himself is happy not being in the French set up.. his issue of course goes beyond on the pitch issues

Rubbish proverb. It does not apply here at all. So try again. Insanity is when one chooses to dance in the mud with pigs thinking he will win in the mud. Me I have offered my own voice and shut down some lies with facts, stats and more and more than two monikers on this thread have already complained that it is getting too much on Forgiveness' part to keep dragging the thread back with his silly agenda and wailings.... We cannot leave all rubbish unattended to everytime... There is a time to throw out the waste bin because I walked in here and saw that you guys haven't exactly thrown some of it out. I saw a pile of rubbish and I had to kick it out

And what is even more insane rather than insisting on K.Nwakali to be called up when we all know he cannot be called up at this time for obvious reasons. Yep... I caught you still on this K.Nwakali issue a few pages back.... You no dey hear word. So next time, think before you type something to have a go at me... I have been away... And I only just returned (just dropping in to take a sneak peek because I am not back fully.. Will be gone soon after now again) and saw a huge lie staring me in the face. The fact that you don't have the balls to confront it should not make you type rubbish about one doing so. When Realpoacher said what he said... I didn't see you type this rubbish above... But because you now want to have a subtle go at me, you cheekily type this nonsense. Better be warned Elyte......

if we are basing it on club form approaching this world cup then it is either tolliso or pogba that had to be dropped

If the scans show that Moses Simon will be fit for the World Cup, then I expect two of Mikel Agu, Echiejile, and Aina to be dropped.

However, if the scans say otherwise, then obviously it will be Moses Simon and one of Agu, Echiejile and Aina to be dropped after the Saturday friendly.

With the likes of John Ogu, Onazi, Joel Obi, and Ndidi in the team, I don’t see a cogent reason why Rohr will decided to take 5 DMs to the World Cup.

Moreover, Agu has only featured for few minutes under Rohr, and if he doesn’t play against England, just know that he ain’t making the trip to Russia.
Rohr shouldn't take more than 6 midfielders
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 4:51pm On May 30, 2018
It would be five or six depending on how may forwards we go with. If and a BIG if, Simon Moses makes it after the third scan in London, then I expect Rohr to take Five midfielders. I feel Simy is already in regardless of whether Simon makes it or not.

Then you should include Matuidi. He has been a shadow of his former self since the beginning of the year. Tolissco is a good player ooo. He's creative and fast.

Because even in a world cup winning team some players never get to kick the ball. If he'll be fine before the last game then he's good to be there.

Meanwhile, you won: Lokosa is not making it to London. He deserve to be there though.
