Ronaldo scored 44 goals in 47 appearances for cruziero....Ronaldo could be compare to a lokosa not Aina, Ronaldo was there because they need to develop him rather his there 3rd choice striker.

Ronaldo was a project for the future. The commentator even said it in the finals that the young man's turn will come. Lokosa is in camp not as a key player but someone who can help the team and also gain from the time with the team.

everyone that watched Nigeria league will tell you that Uzoenyi is a very good player...keshi taking him over Aluko was his choice which i don't accept.

forgiveness is all your argument going to that direction, always comparing your player to others. Aluko was very fantastic but keshi dropped him just like he dropped ideye and so many other boys.

so one here said kayode will make keshi team to tell you how people are discrediting this good man Rohr.

Was Uzoenyi not the one that flopped big time in the AFCON?

Oga, where is Uzoenyi today?

The question I keep asking myself is, why did he not perform in the Eredivise before he was sent back to the second division?

How do we know those who performed in the top league in Europe wouldn't have done better if given the chance?

And if we have a decent league that is comparable to what the north Africans have there is no reason playere like Echiejile, Aina and Idowu should be in that camp. Just watching the Poland vs Nigeria game and Idowu has nothing to offer...NOTHING!

Ikuowen Utin and Ebere Duru who played the left back against Athletico Madrid are way above those below average players we have in the camp.

We need to work on our league. Our league must develop past this shambles we have presently

Watch the Serbian game, Idowu was much much better. Very solid.

That is why you really can't make conclusions on one great or one weak performance.

Jokes apart, that squad will beat this squad hands down.
tbaba1234:

Agree that the group is as tough.

Let us go back to 2002, Okocha was the best player on the team, Taribo was already on the decline and barely played games that season. Yobo was still an up and coming youngster in the team as at 2002, Adepoju was on the decline playing for a second division spanish club.

Ogbeche was not anywhere near the quality of our present forwards at least not at that time. Efe Sodje was average at best. Lawal is not on the level of Victor Moses or Iwobi or Ahmed Musa or Simon Moses offensively.

Babayaro was better than our current left backs.

Then we had Justice Christopher, Opabunmi, Eric Ejiofor (decent player) on the bench.

You were not asking these questions when Kayode was dropped. All you said was 'deal with it' Rohr has chosen based on pedigree of club and performance.. Why the sudden change of mouth? shocked

Stop running down players to make your point. Tell why you want Kayode in the squad and let those who feel Nwakali Kelechi should have made the team support theirs.

There is no need creating venom in the midst of a family. We should care for all. You pollute minds when you try pitching one against the other.

Truth is not every player gets invited based on the same criteria. There is no standard process. Some player get the call based on club performance, others don’t. Either way they all still have to justify their call.
Let’s take Agbo for example who was never tested despite his consistency at the club level. What do you have to say about that? What would u have said it were Kayode?

Sir,pls don't let us used Atletico match to judge our players in main team.

The match was just a normal novelty match, nothing more.

If Idowu,Echiejele and Aina have nothing to offer then not Ikuowen i saw against Cara of Congo.

Kelechi Nwakali is an identified special talent and if the coaching crew decides to look in to support him, I doff my heart to them and they earn my respect. When Iwobi made his debut for the Super Eagles, do you think they were no players playing regularly in clubs that would have gotten the nod ahead of Iwobi. However, his blending with the team, securing his allegiance and development with the team was a Priority. He got the nod in a crucial tie.

Maybe you have not heard the saying that football is not mathematics.

Every Super Eagles player is family. You can complain about inclusion or dropping of a player. However, going on a crusade against every thing that breathes in a Super Eagles Jersey is disheartening and sickening.

I am a big and open fan of Alampasu. I have criticized the handling of his case. Even complained about his exclusion in the Atletico Madrid game. But, not mounting a sickening campaign against every thing.

Uzoenyi was magical in the CHAN. His inclusion in the 2014 World Cup squad was well earned. Anyone who watched him in the CHAN under Keshi, will not blame Keshi's choice of carrying him. We are talking of a player who took a blow on the field, passed out, revived on the pitch and continued playing.

That is how passionate the guy was for the green white green Jersey. He was dropped from the final list but Echiejile's injury gave him the chance to make it.

Him not blossoming does not make the choice wrong. Heck, an experience Yobo had problems in the same mundial.

Del Piero was the most lethal finisher in the Champions League in 97-98 season but flopped on the big stage in France 98.

Even big players like Messi Flop in games.

He was a good player in Brazil but not a key player. Did not play a game and was not required. It was clearly stated that he was there for the future. It was a growing process for the brilliant striker.

Who made him not good enough? You?

We are talking of our best player in CHAN who lit the tournament like fireworks on a new year night in New York. Invited by Keshi who spent time in camp and in games with the player.

You feel your in a better position to rule the player out? Please.
