Forgiveness..... pls let's discuss the most important thing at the moment. Let's move on pls. You are becoming a Troll gradually to be candid. You don't need to keep knocking a Door repeatedly to get Attention. Knock it once or twice, if you are welcomed, the Door gonna be opened for you. However, if you ain't wanted around, kindly turn back and leave honorably. Enough of the Allegations and very redundant Discourse for the Peace of this Thread. You are really distracting, and some of us are beginning to lose interest in your Posts. Instead of reading it, we are beginning to scroll over. Pls for the last time, let's discuss the moment and let the past be, for future sake. 8 Likes 1 Share |

fabyom: Before the Algerian game in Uyo, I was one of the strongest defenders of Elderson on this page. When people were scared of Mahrez and co, i was confident in his ability to keep the Algerians quiet. So i have nothing against any player. If Aina does not impress again then we will have to take Elderson. |

Icon4s:I'd not like to assume you didn't noticed he was overweight? And you have the interest of the team at heart you say, then such weight should concern you. You've stood on the stance that the coach can't see all, even if he knows, it's not bad to say Onazi doesn't look fit based on his size. He needs to drop a few pounds if he wants to attain the beast role he did at 2014. Simple. Forget all these sentiments of "are you Rohr?" Doesn't help. |

Oasis007: I think the idea is that we all here were two steps ahead since we began to predict the list months ago. Normally it would have been now we should be doing that. But since most predictions were right, I guess it would be boring still hinging onto the list. you get? 2 Likes 1 Share |

A husband and wife who both run a company with their only son both applied for different contracts of the same value in a company, knowing only one will get the contract. Only the father was awarded the contract ,however the wife though qualified was denied because the company cannot award contracts to family members and she does not feel bad. However, the son goes crazy saying he prefers that the mother's contract was awarded knowing fully well that his parents don't cheat on each other in any way including financially. We will all agree that the boy is not being smart because: 1)_You can't change the company policy 2) the mother is not complaining 3) The money is still coming to the family Moral lesson : Let us support the players that have been selected because 1)Not all of them will make the list 2)You can't change FIFA rules on number of players eligible 3)They are all Nigerian footballers. 4) The glory or failure falls on the country 5)The dropped players can still prove themselves in the future ,since they are still young. I love reading this thread ,please keep up the good work, while we allow sleeping dog to continue sleeping. Kudos 12 Likes 2 Shares |

I ain't convinced we are ready yet for the Mundial. The Team-play ain't convincing enough that we can make it pass the Group Stage. I'm gonna pass my Verdict and made up my Expectation on the Team after the England and Czech Republic Matches respectively. But so far, except maybe the Argentina Match, I ain't convinced we've a ready Squad for the World Cup. There are things I'm hoping to see from the Team-play, Individual performances as well as how tactically Sound is Rohr on a World Stage. I wanna see Eagles that gonna lighten up the World, that their Style of Play gonna be a Joy to watch. Though nothing is impossible, but we shouldn't raise our Expectations too high on the Team, rather ready to support the Team regardless to the outcome of their Performance in Russia - cos the Team is a Work in Progress. |

Argentina are also not ready to me. They are still on Messi Messi Messi. Haiti exposed that again. Expected that they should have grown up and do better. Aguero was silent till Messi decided to play with him... Cielsa or whatever is good though. 5 Likes |

Finished watching Lillestrom vs Bran[Norway cup]...I think Ifeanyi Matthew should leave that club...he has become bigger than the club and players...the way he controls left side of midfield....scoring and assisting....hum.....and i saw a certain Charles Eze...how on earth did the guy arrive there....playing like an amature...running here and there....Lord have mercy. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by forgiveness: 9:31pm On May 30, 2018 |
Jarus: Let explain, sir. Like I said in that post you quoted. I said it will be wrong if Rohr and his coaching crew list players that didn't perform well this season over those who have worked really very hard this season on the 35 man list eventhough we already know they will not make the team to Russia. But performance must be acknowledged and rewarded to spur those who did better this season to work harder next time to make the list for subsequence matches else the coach will be sending wrong signals by rewarding players who didn’t live up to expectation. However, when the list came out, I saw 30 players and I suspected there is 35 man list our coaching crew is hidding. I raised that alarm and later I suspected those players that played against Athletico Madrid, therein were five targeted players that initially made the list. Then, I made my thought known that if that be the case, those five targeted players don't deserve to be on the list because they were not the best Nigerian performing players in Europe this season. I queried and questioned their inclusion on the list because I can't understand what those players did this season that gave them advantage over others. I said if it's so na nepotism but people here called me several names and said it was never true. But now that Rohr has confirmed that it's true. Dey wan chop me raw. What is my sin, sir? |

Hi bro, go get your freezer filled with wine cos naija fans will pour something during the world cup. Even our worst world cup team still held their own against great teams. tbaba1234: Without a full strength Ndidi playing for us we have a big gulf that nobody can fill at this moment. That leaves us vulnerable to the losing dominance in the midfield and getting over run. I deh fear Oh. |

Let's play our lives versus Croatia so we can play the Chelsea way against Argues in case Iceland shocks us. Worst case scenarios.... We must take the Croatian match as a win. We can shock Argentina too. Ndidi&Onazi should be mentally ready for him. Besides I see us bossing that middle. They don't have the middle asides the presence of Messi. |

Martz101: Why not? Is he the only AMF we have in Europe? Did he even perform better than those in a better league than him? Well, what else do I expect from someone who told me performance in a top league earned Simy a place in Russia ahead of Kayode and suddenly turned around to tell me he doesn't see anything wrong with picking a division 2 player ahead of a player that did well in division 1? Double standard, isn't it? 1 Like |

komekn: The Lineup and the Formation. If it's left for me, I will rather prefer we play 3 - 5 - 2 Formation - that's playing to the Team's Strength. Against England, I will prefer to go with the below Lineup; ------------------- Akpeyi-------------------- Omeruo---------- Balogun ----------- Ekong Tyrone-------- Ogu ----- Agu ---------- Aina -------------------- Mikel --------------------- ----------- Iwobi ------------------- Iheanacho ----------------- Then in the 2nd Half I will replace Iwobi with Moses (if he's fit) or Musa and Ighalo for Iheanacho. Also Shehu will come in Tyrone, while Idowu replaces Aina. Awaziem will replace Omeruo, Onazi and Joel will replace Ogu and Agu respectively. Finally Uzoho comes in Akpeyi to show more of his Capabilities. |

Some optimistic view point. Nigeria progressed from group stage in 1994 and 1998 respectively, Nigeria once again progressed from group stage in 2014....so, we will most likely progress to the KO Rounds again in 2018. 94-14, 98-18 See as I dey give myself hope 4 Likes 1 Share |
