deomelo: Yet, ironically, South East legislators are consistently the leaders in pushing bills in the National Assembly: https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/after-pocketing-n32bn-161-reps-yet-to-sponsor-bill/209389.html Are you speaking facts or just digging garbage out of your arse? 2 Likes |

By the way, thank you for posting those pictures of yourself, which you attached to your last comment. Those tribal marks on your face suit you rather well. 3 Likes |

Obi1kenobi: What's pushing bills got to do with lobbying government institutions and their officials to make sure that everything in your region back home is running smoothly? What's pushing bills got to do with the topic anyway? Or you just lack the capacity to read, comprehend and purvey sane and rational logic. When the FG handed over federal infrastructures to Lagos and other states, you think it happened by accident? No, their elected officials in Abuja lobbied for it and even when the Lagos special status demand failed, Lagosians chewed hem up for it. Your elected officials are in Abuja for a reason, they are their to fight for your interests back home, they should even ask the FG to cede that facility to them to manage, same way other states are demand and receiving FG infrastructures, but your leaders won't do that because you people love to blame other people for you woes and incompetent leadership. In fact, the fact they they pass bills mean they should not lobby to make sure your people back home benefit enjoy FG Facilities back home? Kindly go away with your silly bills nonsense. 2 Likes |

LZAA: You mean National elected public officials representing Lagos state were able to lobby the FG to cede over FG infrastructures to Lagos state simply because Lagos state used to be the FC? I know you did not comprehend my post, hence you ignorant and illogical response. This is why I always ignore your ignorant ipob ramblings. Ignored till further notice. 3 Likes |

Anyone have any guesses when the four river ports will be ready. I'll guess 2019-2020 for Onitsha along with ICD. I doubt world world bank would waste their time. They'll be featured together back to back. Im not sure how gazetting process works but I would think you gazette port after you get consessionsire to manage it. Its weird port inaugurated 2012 with no consessionsire or no gazzetting done. Anyway I'll email the NSC, NIMAS and FMoT ask why. Maybe they'll have an answer. Ps: these threads get stupid fast but they're entertaining. 1 Like |

The problem is simply insecurity of Niger Delta waterways and rejection by Ijaws of the attempted dredging of the river. There reason is that the environmental impact assessment suggested possible dry up of some rivers and overflow of others with negative impact on riverine communities. |

deomelo: You think vapidly uttering words like "logic" means you employ any. How the hell would you know what is being lobbied and what isn't? From your keyboard? You claimed South East senators are just bystanders in Abuja and then start waffling unsubstantiated rubbish when the only credible measure of legislative activity proves they're actually the most active legislators. Why Lagos? Why not tell me how many Federal infrastructure your own state took over from the FG to manage? Also, why is all that long, beautiful coastline of Ondo lying fallow. Yours or their "competent" leaders didn't know how to "lobby", abi? Na ontop Lagos matter una go die. Villager claiming Lagos. 3 Likes |

deomelo: I'm sure his point was that Lagos' commercial potential is what makes them capable of managing some of the infrastructure. Your intellectually dishonest, profoundly stewpid comparison of Lagos to other states is what he's challenging. What has your Osun village taken over to manage from the FG? 3 Likes |

Now, this is what is adorable about Yanminri...here is opportunity to earn money on concessions, right at home....they abandoned it. Five years! Five years...and not a single omo ibo came forth to grab this opportunity. But they are fuming and gnashing teeth that Lagos State took away their concession at TradeFair Complex. These are just adorable people... 4 Likes |
