Your bro is wise. The year that nonsense debuted, I watched it, and, hated it, that was 8 years ago (when I enjoyed genres I wouldn't give the time of day now). The whole drama was a proper lesson in bad writing and poor acting from the beginning to the end.

Legend of The Seeker is a useless series. Truth be said, though, I was amongst those that got affected by the wild fever that, that series brought to Nigeria. The show was so popular that you'll see kids of about 5 years reliving the storyline episode by episode. This was many years ago when I didn't know a good series or movies even if it smacks me right in the face. But now I've gotten a better sense of judgement, I've realised that series was a total waste of time and a maze of confused storylines even for the script writers.

Lmao. Even then as a teen, I couldn't stand it. The confessor coming to the seeker's rescue every single time irritated the heck out of me. I've never seen a more useless protagonist in my life.

The series showed me that a lot of we Nigerians lacked good of sense of judgement because even some adults actually bought into the hype. But I can understand and forgive the foolishness because I think around the time the useless series was trending, most Nigerians were just starting to delve in the world of series and therefore weren't exposed to quality and meaningful series, hence the thought of the series being a great series back then.

What I will never understand, is how a Nigerian, in this recent times with all the quality series littered everywhere, and with the modern exposure, will still boldly defend Legend Of The Seeker as a quality series, even going to extent of asking us to REWATCH one of the worst series ever produced AGAIN? For the benefit of this argument everyone just download episodes 1-3 of lengend of the seeker and if u still don't like it quote me again .but if u like it be honest to share to the world, 8 years ago is a long long time, understanding was minimal

Do u know that if u watch prison break again and again u will notice new thing u skipped ,irrespective of how long u repeat seeing the series , so to other movies and series,

You keep going on and on about 'lack of understanding' as if it's a very complex show or something like that. Legend of the Seeker is a simple enough show with a simple plot made for family viewing pleasure. It is a PG - 13, and in my experience, heavily censored shows like that are never difficult to understand by anyone. Even a 9 year old can narrate the whole plot to you at a first watch... which brings me to my main point:

It's okay to rewatch something you used to like in order to to relive your nostalgia. Nostalgic feeling is a sentimental feeling of a beloved past, and thus facilitates your enthusiasm of wanting to revisit that treasured memory, but when that nostalgia doesn't exist, it will be nothing short of torture reliving a memory that you don't care for at all.

Bottom line, we are far more inclined and positively motivated to rewatch shows we liked in the past than shows we hated.

Oh sorry , for the lack of understanding stuff. I said that because it happened to me and even some people in this thread , let me give good example .

When GOT came out ,I hated it , I guess because I was into Si-Fi series den and my Job couldn't give me enough time to have patients and grab d story and I was into other on going series too , any time I tried to watch it I fell asleep at a point I hated the series ,

One day I copied from season 1-6 from a friend , luckily I was so free and I finished the season 1-6 within 5 days , (fantastic series)

Do u know that I have Banshee or banshea , but I couldn't hold on that series I just kept it in my laptop knowing that someday I will relax and enjoy it ,

If u can't go back to it no problem just take it as little waste of time or challenge . or for the fun of proving me wrong , episodes 1-3 is not much

I review old series not just because I love them but because o know I will always grab something new . ,
