Damn, even Riviera that just started, you already seeing it?

Thinking of starting it and safe.

Season 1 of Riveira aired last year tho. Not exactly a new show in my definition as there are much more newer shows around. Yeah, I watched it last year. It's glamorous, it's expensively made, the visuals are impressive, it's got plotholes in droves, but don't let that stop you since the plot still make for a credible fast paced action mystery.

Safe is very good. It will keep you guessing until the end. Michael. C. Hall attempt at an English accent is atrocious, tho. I don't know why his character has to be made an Englishman, when he could just as easily be an American expat working in England, at least, he would have kept his natural American accent, instead of trying to speak English in an accent he can't do. Apart from that, he nailed his role... solid acting all around.

While he's clearly wrong on Stranger Things being an episode of X-files turned to a full brown tv show, the show does feel like an episode of prime X-files at times. When I watched season one, I keep expecting Agent Mulder and Scully to pop out any moment and start investigating.

I can't remember the last time I prayed so fervently for a character not to die like I did for Jorge Salceido. If he had died, I'd have developed a deep seated hatred for Narcos.

Done with Homeland season 7, I think Crazy Carrie is better than normal Carrie. To think of it is there a season why Carrie does not go crazy?

Crazy Carrie is the best Carrie. Season 1 and 2 were crazy Carrie at her best. I can't recall her going crazy in season 3 and 5. Season 4, she went crazy and deliberately too. Season 7, she then goes completely crazy, like we have never seen her before... like completely unhinged.

Edit: Come to think of it, I think she deliberately went off her meds slightly on season 5 in order to solve a puzzling case. Ironically, she's smarter when she's crazy.

Jorge made a deal with the devil and expected to walk out of it whole? That's mighty naive. He should have known better. Still, I'm glad he f**k them (the Cali cartel) good in the end, and out of self preservation.

Is this a joke? I don't know if you were being serious or simply taking the piss. I mean, it's a well established fact that Stranger Things is an amalgram of several concepts drawn from not a single movie or a tv show but ten eleven movies, ELEVEN. Let's not have this back and forth because it's long settled colloquy. Pulling some ludicrous idea out of thin air just because it suited a particular narrative doesn't make it correct. It does look like an episode of X-files because both are drawn from similar sources, and because the X-files came before it.

prolly the best pirate series I've ever seen (alongside Vikings) , Hannah New's acting was top notch (tho she was kinda annoying), how alliances were changing is what made the show interesting plus the raw pirate life 8.5/10 for me
