It has blamed economic mismanagement and corruption under former scandal-tainted leader Najib Razak and the long-ruling coalition that was ousted by a surprise defeat in a May 9 national election. hehehehehehe this one got me laughing so loud, this one nah Bullhari/APC version of Malay , always blaming the pass government, but big diff here they are out to solve the problem, not to create more problems for it citizens |

dele31: Time to separate the goats from the wolves in the government if we really want to get it right. The wolves have almost eaten all the goats and relatives of goats. The wolf is corruption. It is the wolves who have borrowed and wouldn't pay back because they can. It is time to invite the good shepherd. |

Malaysia's national debt is around $251billion and it represents 80% of the country's GDP . That is really huge. Nigeria's debt case is not even half this bad. |

Nigerian has always been the one paying for the nation's debt through heavy tax, service charge etc. So its not new to us. |

SuperWorld: No wahala to contribute in Nigeria? I guess you'll be the only one contributing. Why would you expect innocent masses to bear the burden of looting the treasury by the privileged few? The Nigerian government should first repatriate looted funds hidden abroad and jail the looters. |

The Bank of International Settlement via IMF and World Bank will put their military to review this Prime Minister, because he seems to know something that many do not. If he can pay off the entire dept then take off interest rates from their banking system lending protocols and pass a bill not to borrow any longer. Then Malaysia will the first country in the world to be out of the Luciferian Control. I just hope the Prime Minister is making this decision after clear understanding of the inner workings of the world of the Zionist Monetary System and Controls. |

That is how economy works in most countries. If a country takes on a huge debt that can't be paid off in one generation via taxes, the next generation (children of the past generation) would continue paying the debt via increased taxes. |

So why all the noise about Malaysia and how the country's economy has transformed and left Nigeria and others behind. Most of the alarmist we have in this country who parade themselves as economic gurus will one day put everybody into trouble. They just look at structures built and confuse people by calling all that economic growth. They forget that there is a sharp difference between economic growth and economic development. Look at a country with debt to GDP ratio of 80%, just like America that has debt to GDP ratio of 101%. And all these fake genius keep pointing and advising we should have used the same model those countries have used as the right bench mark to adopt. When it is obvious that they can not even sustain themselves. Even though it is better to borrow and build infrastructure than to borrow and pay salaries as practised by Jonathan. But the situation of Malaysia and other countries have shown that they are not healthy because of the economic policies they have practised. it is not every infrastructure that is worth building, especially when they can not generate revenue to defray the debt used in building them. |

All these idiots on nairaland shouting Sai baba, I hope u read that news. And I sincerely hope that Nigeria doesn't denigrate to this level because debt management office (DMO) says that Buhari administration has borrowed more in 3 years than PDP's 16 years in power. The most worrisome aspect is that we don't see the effect, and Lai Mohammed tells us the project they are investing the recovered loots, tax income, oil revenues and borrowed funds are too big for Nigerians to see. Nigeria is in trouble but we don't know |

Was Malaysia not an Oil Producing country. They have a vibrant Palm Industry and a growing hub of south east asia commerce. Why is Malaysia falling so low to compel its citizen to join in paying its huge debts? How did Malaysia leaders manage their economy to have such a huge debts? |
