BluntTheApostle: Another igrnorant post. Worship of one god is called monotheism, but that does not equate two different deities. Now lets move further. If Allah equates to Jehova or Chineke or Eledumare or Yahweh, can you share where a moozlim calls or prays via those other names for God? Lets stop all this equating of one god to another, for what purpose if I may ask. Allah is Allah, Jehovah/Yahweh is Jehova, Sango is Sango, Obatala is Obatala. This is not Algebra, A = C, and B = C therefore A = C. No religion does not meet reason or logic in that sense. All man to his lane. 1 Like |

DavidEsq: Please allow me point this to you: There may be so-called gods both in heaven and on earth, and some people actually worship many gods and many Lords. But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8:5-6 NLT 1 Like |

Macon1212:the food they eat is not sacrificed. Ah.... Stop displaying your vast knowledge of ignorance. It is just food that the have prepared to eat when their fast is over. As a Christian, when you are done fasting, is the food you use to break your fast a sacrifice to God? 1 Like |

It is not that which goes into the body that defiles the body but that which comes from it. If it's reasonable, nutritious, not poisonous and given to you out of friendship, if you like the food I see no reason to refuse. Certain no Christian religious reason. Otherwise it is just extreme interpretation that Christians were not taught by Jesus or early leaders like Peter, John, Matthew, Paul and others. Upon Jesus' death & resurrection, Christians were liberated from the Jewish/Mosaic dietary requirements. That is why pork and many others are no more taboos like the Jews still practice today. 2 Likes |

canalily: Everything is a matter of intent. You celebrate Christmas even though they tell you it's a Pagan celebration because of that's not what you have in mind. To you it's the birth of Christ. Food is food as a matter of fact. What matters is how you see it. 1 Like |

The present generation are in TROUBLE,gone are those days when Christians celebrates Salah with Muslim and Muslims celebrates Easther with Christian, our own traditional believers all celebrates festival together without having suspecting one another Most of this generation don't read or even understand the Holly book rather, the man of God in the church or Musque are not telling members what the Holly book says about your neighbour. Before religion was imported to this country we live in harmony and peace .We see our self as out-group and in-group I mean we are ethnocentric it good to be continuous of what you eat but don't let us Drage religion into it. 1 Like |

I can as well twist your words and say You know what am saying that Christians are violent and you should practice the peace you claim you are preaching. We started this discourse less than an hour ago, how come you just realised it's Sunday? 2 Likes 1 Share |
