mzhorlah: If your course in Human relation is inter/multidisciplinary, I see nothing stopping you. Write a well convincing SOP to suit your interests. Articulate all point why you want to use your background in English to pursue a career in Human Relation. If you're not qualified from start, I believe the school won't give you M.Sc admission, rather tell you to do PGD in that program. Left to you now is to show commitment to returning back to your home country, and how the M.Sc will impact your professional/Academic goal. Best wishes. |

goodnews1111: It is the last two pages of the 19page study permit guide. They also give you the questionnaire form, FOC, if you request or need it, at VFS office *make sure you download the study permit guide for your country |

Is a 5 page SOP considered too long or I should stick to 2 pages? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by dubaiboy1: 1:14pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
In my own humble opinion, I think a 2 pages detailed SOP is great. You don't want to bore out the VO. I stand to be corrected though. babzy90: 1 Like 1 Share |

charlyduru: No need to include it. Besides, you said the scores are low. Don't go and shoot yourself in the leg sir |

Pls, gurus in the house, good day to you all... Pls I need a little clarification. **How long does it take for passport to be dispatched from the embassy after the final decision had been made** I submitted a paper application, and later linked it with online account. On the 10th of May I:e last month, I received a notification that the application was refused through the online account and up till now the passport hasn't been dispatched from the embassy and when ever I tracked it, it always shows the submission date which the application was submitted. The application is going to four months now. This is my third application, in which have been answered all the questions thrown on to me. |

So gurus in the house. If to say i get admission for master eh, and a registered bussiness with account balance of six to seven miilion, but am unemployed, do you think i should apply as a self sponsored? Or will it be safer to make my aunt who is a top state government worker as a partial sponsor. Plus in the visa application form, is there provision for partial sponsor? And since am unemployed, what best option to use as a proof of ties? Land document? Business registeration? I have a kid, but not more married to the lady. What are my options |

Hello guys, please just a little inquiry: What do you think of an SOP of 18 pages; - 4 pages is me talking about why I’m doing an MBA, and detailing my visa history and funding - 7 pages is me showing scans of my current and previous passports, my UK residence permit for when I was a student over there, and other stamps for other countries I’ve visited - 2 pages is scans of my engineering BSc and MSc - 2 pages for my TRU admission letter and Payment receipt of First semester tuition - 3 pages for my dad’s authorisation letter, a scan of his passport & my birth certificate I was denied the Canada student visa once, so this time I want to be perfect at the SOP. Thanks for any output from you all. |

babzy90: Hi @babzy90, If you need 5pages to capture all relevant information then go ahead. It's your SOP and you know what you put into it. Asking how many pages when no one has viewed it, the answers you will be getting would not be objective. ( So that you do not take out just the right relevant information that would make your application scale through). Follow your heart, play the devils advocate on your SOP, if you were reading someone's SOP of 5 pages what would bore you and what wouldn't? My own SOP is 7pages. (I have worked since 2005), plus I am going with my family, in addition, I listed all docs ( most esp. supporting docs) attached according to each family members profile to make life easy for the VO. I have read mine time and time again just to be sure it would make sense. Just to add: Three out of my 7 pages are a list of all docs. Plus i utilized paragraphing very well for easy reading. goingforward. 3 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by goingforward: 7:07pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
chrisraph: @reichwolf: If you are applying online, There is actually a segment for upload of Int'l passport upload, so take this off your SOP and add it to that segment. All the other scanned docs including your certificate can come in underneath under supporting docs segment, underneath your SOP, which should be the first doc to start this segment. You can list the docs as a bulleted list and say attached below to this as supporting docs are ...xyz. Then close your SOP with your signature. Paste the other scanned docs underneath that after your signature. My thoughts. goingforward. |

chrisraph: Hahahah I just want to make sure I leave no stones unturned. I’ve been denied once so I want to put max effort to have this student visa God willing. Do you think 18 pages is way too much? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by reichwolf: 7:27pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
goingforward: Thanks for your opinion. I will think carefully about what you said. In kind of a way it might be better to organise the scans in the manner you said. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by chrisraph(m): 7:54pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
reichwolf: I think its exorbitant oooo... official docs are meant to be brief, it might get boring for the VO, Besides you might use your words to deny yourself visa sef when u explain non relevant points.. I think three pages is cool if its bigger reduce fonts to 12 (standard font size). 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by reichwolf: 10:05pm On Jun 03, 2018 |
chrisraph: Actually my SOP and Dad's authorisation altogether is only 5 pages. The remaining 11 pages are scans of passport, visa stamps for other countries and payment receipt for first semester tuition. The fact is that I want to ace this visa application. I'm so tense these days. But I rest my faith in GOD. |
