As for Aina, RB slot is already filled up and he didnt do himself any favours when he played in that LB position against Congo to warrant him any kind of space.

In all, i think Rohr went for the "tested and tried" plus experience but i still dont give them any chance.

If we do a player for player comparison, you'd notice that Mourinho has the better team compared to LVG and yet the players at his disposal have so far underperformed prior to when they met Mou.
Mourinho has left the likes of Pogba, Sanchez, Martial, Rashford etc worse than they were before him, he has only managed to improve Lingard and Lukaku (his overall game), I deliberately refused to add Young cos under LVG, he was flourishing as a LW.

Now, compared to LVG who I think improved our players in his brief spell as manager, he has his lapses but he certainly isn't as bad ascyou might think...

In all, LVG and Mourinho have seriously underperformed, our style of player is drab, we play like a collection of total strangers hurriedly assembled.

lies.. first of all LVG had the funds to buy whatever he wants but decided to use it foolishly, its not like mourinho inherited better players, he scouted and purchased them.. pogba's best tally ever was 26goals+assist at juventus in 49apps and 4,284mins played, under jose he has 18goals+assist in 37apps with 2,879mins played, Sanchez na new comer, rashford just had his best season under mou. martial has only one exceptional season for all we know he might be a one season wonder, though i trust jose to make him a world beater.

nah, LVG underperformed by winning the FA cup and finishing 4th and 5th in the league, meanwhile under jose we've won the league cup and europa league and finished 6th and 2nd in the league. one was sacked after two seasons despite winning the FA cup one is entering his 3rd with backing from the board despite loosing the FA cup final.
