Musa has been a regular in Bulgaria. He has even been fielded at LB as well. if Musa was given that chance Aina got it would have been history o. It seems we have forgotten too early Musa had made his debut for Nigeria before that Atletico match. How did he perform? grin
Rohr dropped him for a single reason — lack of game time at his club. Now he’s got many minutes under his belt. Leta see if he will make the cut in Istanbul next season.

goldfish80:

With Musa's natural ability, I imagine he would have improved just like Ebuehi did. I recall Ebuehi saying initially in his early days he wasnt good enough yet for international football.
Aina with all the resources invested in him by Nigeria yet, couldn't acquaint himself. Had Musa been given equal opportunities like Aina and Ebuehi, he would have been ready because the ability is undeniable.

He played very well on his debut against Tanzania. Rohr was in awe of his performance on the day. I think it was Rohr's first game in charge.
The kid is very good, forget about the bad contract he signed in Turkey. He had options to transfer to Athletico Madrid but bad advisers derailed that move.

Ebuehi is light-skinned, by the world-approved, skin color index, Idowu would be more threatening than Ebuehi.

The only time a light person may look threatening next to a dark person, is if the light person is bearded and the dark person is clean-shaved grin.

There is a reason why darker people are seen as masculine while the lighter you are, the more feminine the world assumes you are.

However, I do agree that Ebuehi looks more rugged than Idowu, especially with the hair-do.

True to your words, light skin is presumed to be feminine but you see Ebuehi, Balogun and Ekong those guys can throw punches. I want you to watch how Ebuehi walks, like mudaphuking gangster. I swear Ebuehi can woop Iwobi's azz all day...lol

And do you remember the little show Balogun put on against Algerian the day he wore a mask...We have some rugged mixed boys ooo.

Oliseh is light skin, Emenalo and Iroha are light skin and these guys will kick your azz. People always underestimate light skin guys but a bunch of them are very tough

His loan contract will be over later this month. Let’s see what lies ahead for him.

Oliseh looks like a lot of talk, might not make it through a fight, but he will give you the impression that he can whoop ass.

Would Ebuehi beat Iwobi? I doubt it. Did you see the mean look Iwobi gave Feghouli when they had an altercation? Guys like Iwobi are like volcanos, they give warnings before they erupt, but when they do, there is no holding them back.

On that note, I submit that Ebuehi would not beat up Iwobi, it would be a pretty even battle, and Iwobi would have to be pulled off Ebuehi and taken to another room for such a fight to end.

Next match up please grin

well, considering that Onazi is too fat to move anything. Joel would probably beat him up, then get injured half way through the fight because he was punching Onazi too hard undecided

Would make a boring match up

Just watched most of the friendlies....

Iceland Vs Norway ... Iceland have a shaky defence that we can tune to our advantage, but I'm wowed by their coordinated attack.

Croatia Vs Brazil.... The Croats were so resolute in defending that Brazil had to start firing shots from outside... I'm Afraid our attack line have work to do against them being our first match.

If we and Argentina both take 3points, we don qualify already.

So we are playing Czech cos of the Croats? Is okay.

forgiveness:
Honestly, I am not happy both Agu and Aina were dropped after watching the match we played against Zambia in Uyo just now.

Agu was everywhere and did a very good job in that match after he came on for Onazi. This boy even played against Cameroun and still did well yet he was dropped. Na wa ooo.

Before Aina came on for Elderson the Zambians had a field day in his position. They exposed him so badly that hr had to feign injury to avoid been disgraced.

When Aina came on the right wing of the Zambians, they could no longer penetrate that side of our defense and he offered more in the attack.

He combined well with Victor and at one point, they exchanged passes before he beat his marker on the run to lay a beautiful pass to Victor but Victor messed up the chance.

How come nobody saw that?

Anyway, Rohr don put himself for tight corner with his selection and nothing less than a good outing will save his job.

Many Nigeria fans are not happy these two players were dropped and the will hold him responsible for bad performance which nobody is praying for.

NFF nogo fit save dem job not to talk of Rohr.

Besides, Mikel was a beauty to behold in the second half against England.

I noticed Iwobi dropped deep to help dictate play and both he and Mikel were the anchor of the team. Wow! I just love watching my Mikel.

Ogu was exposed big time at the back when we were attacked. Na Troost saved him.

My Mikel? So you are among those Chelsea fans crying for his return to replace "Baka-yokes", " Drinking water" and "Barclays bank" grin

I just dey look you... "My Mikel"... Na so...

Ogu brings a passive Feminine kind of energy that calms and stabilises the team. He's like a glue. Go watch our match against Argentina. Even when we were on the back foot, the whole team was calm. Joel Obi has negative erratic energy. Destabilizes the team. He's like a transformer that needs a step down if not na so bulbs and appliances go dey blow pow pow. Ask Balogun. Joel Obi off something inside Balogun brain with him gri gri.

Guys! Pls someone should ensure Rohr does not have access to Super Eagles topic on nairaland else he gets drowned in confusion before the start of WC. Some line-ups here would even be rejected by match commissioners... Anyway, its important to note that most are qualified coach Akpos..

Me too will drop my line up:

Uzoho.

Omerua. Ekong. Balogun

Ebuehi. Ndidi. Mikel. Idowu

Iwobi.

Moses.

Ighalo

Another confused list grin >: grin

Arsenal young star Alex Iwobi and Chelsea right wing-back Victor Moses were among a sizeable number of Super Eagles stars that did not participate in full training with the squad during Monday evening's workout, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.

Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr admitted post-match that the Gunners number seventeen suffered from cramps in the closing minutes of the 2-1 loss to England, even though he was seen holding his hamstring.

Leon Balogun's availability for the friendly against Czech Republic is covered in mist, the central defender had to be taken off the pitch to receive medical treatment following a clash of heads with Joel Obi prior to his substitution at half-time.

Whilst the Brighton & Hove new signing only participated in running exercises, Iwobi worked out in the gym and was seen exercising in the swimming pool.

Captain John Obi Mikel, William Troost-Ekong and Brian Idowu also did not train fully, having lasted the full ninety minutes against the Three Lions.

The trio worked in the gym along with Victor Moses who subbed out in the 63rd minute on Saturday.

There was nothing major in the second workout today, apart from the seven-a-side game.

Moment of the game #ENGNGA grin grin grin

Uzoho's fine freekick save, Cahill's header to put England up, Mikel's brilliance in the passing dept and his dribbling/ball holding, Kane's goal & Uzoho's blip, Sterling's misses, Iwobi's dare, Uzoho's one on ones... Iwobi's moment of magic and goal... So much to pick from... But This has to be it... There can only be one moment that captures it all.....

The moment "Moses" parted the red sea again.... Via the legs of Kane through one well timed executed piece of skill and showmanship

Luckyroro:
I saw a video of John Ogu suffering a panic attack on board a flight to Austria yesterday. That video was inappropriate to say the least because I didn't see any humour in it rather I saw something capable of straining his relationship with those who were recording it. Our players seem to be getting it all wrong with their social media presence and display. I feel social media does more harm than good in football. Little wonder most countries have placed their players on regulations. A situation whereby a player Visits the Internet for his assessment when there are trolls who derive joy in running your confidence down is very bad. I remember Mikel had to delete his Twitter account after his back pass led to Chelsea defeat by Juventus sometime in 2013. These players need to take it easy. They are not show businessmen.
