This one is foolishness, how many Africans are in top teams in Europe?

Yaya should focus on one leg of the table and pummel the bald fraud... but the racism pata will not fly angry

I actually think pep treated Yaya better than most expected. Many people expected pep to ship Yaya out immediately he landed at city given the way yaya and his agent were attacking Guardiola even before he entered Manchester but pep did not ship him out. Actually Guardiola extended his contract for another year.

So what type of treatment do you expect for a 35yr old Yaya at a top club.

If Yaya had been treated like Joe Hart a white British maybe you would have labeled Guardiola Hitler or like Schweinsteiger

I personally do not feel everyone is worthy of being educated. But you are more courteous than me.

What is the correlation between winning and working with in-subordinate players?

As if Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Cantona, Ince, Hughes, Rooney, Keane, Hargreaves etc did not have things to say about SAF.

Only a fool, will believe relating with all players equally is equivalent to being a proven coach.

You'd have to even be a special brand of foolish to post it on a public forum.

No drag Jose "lover of Africans" mourinho good name into this discrimination charges.

The only reason it is harder to make the same racist claims for Mou is that he married an Angolan. You should read up on the things E'too said about him as well. Or Demba Ba.

This was Barca’s lineup vs Bayern Munich, away in the 2008/09 CL quarter finals:

Notice how you can see Eto’o, Toure himself, Keita, Abidal and Alves, 5 players of color in this lineup?

Why does Pep have to field 5 non naturalized Africans to prove that he isn’t racist? So Pep has to field 5 Arabs to prove that he isn’t anti Arab etc? If you deserve to start, Pep starts you. Did Toure forget Pep trusting him enough to start at Center Back, against Manchester United in the 2009 CL final as the young Pique’s partner? That too against an Utd attack consisting of CR, Rooney and Tevez.

He didn’t have problems with David Alaba and Jerome Boateng at Bayern. Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling are City’s starters under him. He had almost no issues with Abidal and Alves (Alves and Pep did have a falling out in 2011/12, but that was because of Alves’s defensive indiscipline). Thierry Henry literally worships the baldie.

Pep didn’t gel well with Ibra and Mandzukic. So I can argue that he is anti Slavic peoples? (I assume I got the ethnicity right there).

Guardiola’s man management problems lie in dealing with strong personalities. He doesn’t handle it well at all. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with racism. Else, he would have totally shunned players of color throughout his career. He found Busquets to be better suited to his ideas, but didn’t handle the part of telling it to Yaya properly.

Man, the baldie really faces some inane shit in the form of “criticism”

Splendid.

His signature move is to freeze them out or not kiss their behinds. The kind of thing they accuse him of, People need to understand personality types when it comes to coaching or working with people.

The same goal scoring that Etoo and Zlatan boasted about is what David Villa came, did and won easily without much hullabaloo. If you act childish and in-subordinate like some of the names above (including Yaya) he freezes you out because it hurts egomaniacs really bad to be ignored.

They would rather be insulted or even fought..but ignoring them...wow..that really stings.

"Then, at Bayern and City, he tried to reproduce the same patterns but with this requirement: working with ‘his’ players and with almost unlimited means. It would not work at Crystal Palace or Watford."

He couldn't have done that immediately. Yaya was arguably one of the top midfielders in the EPL and was unplayable in beast mode. I think the reason most fans didn't raise an eyebrow about his situation last season was for two reasons : his age and the fact that City was doing very well in the league

I do think eph12 is right, pep didn't let yaya get the appreciation he deserved he made it seem city can exist without him and would have done well without him. a final match for yaya would have been a good goodbye.

Pep almost did the same thing with Aguero -- cast him to the back side.

truth is pep doesn't know how to manage egos he may just only know how make them.

He stole my farewell with City, a club with beautiful fans. ‘I would have liked to leave with emotion of this club the way Iniesta [left Barcelona] or Gianluigi Buffon [left Juventus]. But Pep prevented me.’
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by airmark(m): 1:36pm On Jun 05, 2018
Yaya's agent must be a nairaland member. cheesy

Seluk told Sport24 : “If my grandmother became manager of Bayern they would still be champions. This is the enviable consistency of Guardiola’s career choices: he arrives at a club with a huge budget and which already wins titles without him. Once again: Guardiola’s actions towards Pellegrini, who reached the semi-final of the Champions League that year, were horrible. But Guardiola has taken similarly horrible actions on many occasions.

What has Guardiola achieved? In two years he has won as much as Mancini and Pellegrini did. In fact, Pellegrini reached the Champions League semi final, and Guardiola hasn’t done that yet. Manchester City just renewed his contract for three years.

"I would bet that, in that time, Guardiola will not win the Champions League, no matter how much money he spends, and he loves to spend money. When he spends £200m on the defence alone; when money is no object, then I can only agree with (Mauricio) Pochettino when he says that he likes to win trophies, rather than buying them as Guardiola does."

#This is Fraudiola.

City were trying to win 100pts and Yaya was a liability in that dynamics.

He wanted to be playing consistently after the league was won but he is no Iniesta and he certainly is no Buffon.

Atleast, we all can agree that the cake saga happened before Pep or else, it would have been another racist excuse.

What I find amusing is how he came out to apologize to Pep (together with his agent Seluk) only to start mouthing off rubbish after leaving.

Was this supposed to tarnish the reputation of a manager who just achieved the winningest record in EPL history?

See snakes in a team, who celebrate when games are won but were secretly hoping City won nothing just so they could say "I told you so".

Wait didnt Yaya start Citys last home game vs Brighton which they won 3-1 and was given the captain armband. Yaya was removed at 86mins to get applause from the crowd

So what other final match are we talking about or expecting Or what would have been an acceptable farewell for Yaya

Manchester City 3 Brighton 1: Champions break three Premier League records in perfect farewell for Yaya Toure

Toure - playing in his last ever home game at the Etihad Stadium - was afforded an emotional goodbye after being substituted with seven minutes remaining.

Toure was recalled for his first Premier League start of the season and regular captain Vincent Kompany gave up the armband for the night.

He played 85 minutes before leaving to a huge ovation having been in the thick of the action throughout
. Like the Toure of old, he frequently looked to drive City forward or pick up possession on the edge of the box. He was urged to shoot from early on as the fans longed for a farewell goal but that was not to be, despite a late chance.
