Oh, can one wonder why you are severely unhinged from reality. You made a mistake to stop reading in 2002. To remain mentally stable you must read Harry Potter daily.

BUTTERFLYLEO will agree that you are the reason JK Rowling got a bad name.

Harry Potter books did not end till several years later...I think the last canon one was in 2006/2007. Please, stop showing your ignorance.

I will not derail and so, this will be my last comment to you here.

Would you say they are available and easily assessed in Nigeria?

I ask because of an amazement I have at the availability of Animal Farm compared to 1984.

Nope these were personal books. Some were mine and some for friends. We all bought these books from UK/USA.

Animal farm is popular because it was once on the educational curriculum

About 14.

Question 3

Huge one. I once had a habit of going through the whole series at least twice a fan.

Harry Potter isn't the typical superhero stereotype (large muscles, big brains, superhuman powers). Rather, his victories come through a combination of luck, help from friends, and most importantly, a firm belief in his abilities.

Hollywood painted it a sort of kiddy Halloween special, but for me, the books tell a much deeper story : of friendship, family, and the eternal fight between good and evil.

Answer Q2. I first read it in my first year at varsity age 17.

Answer Q3. it’s a fantastic series that will make you happy forever, but also because—according to new studies—reading JK Rowling’s series will make you a better, kinder person.

Unfortunately, Harry Potter made me intolerant of bullies.

I read it as an adult, much later than when it came out. That was the first one anyways. So perhaps I missed out on the on the influence it had on those younger.

The rest, I watched as movies and I have to say I intensely disliked Emma Watson's acting but overall quite enjoyable.

So on me, no discernible impact.

The Trio

Professor McGonagall: "Why is it, when something happens, it is always you three?"

Ron Weasley: "Believe me, Professor. I've been asking myself the same question for six years.

— The trio's talent for trouble

The Trio, sometimes known as the Golden Trio, is a popular name for the three main characters of the Harry Potter series. The Trio, hence the name, holds three members, being Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. The trio is often allied with the Order of the Phoenix and Albus Dumbledore.

Members
Harry Potter was one of the most famous wizards of modern time, also known as the 'Boy who lived' and the 'Chosen One'. He is known for being the cause of Voldemort's first downfall and is responsible for the Dark Lord's final defeat. Harry was also the teacher/leader of Dumbledore's Army and was the best in his year at Defence Against the Dark Arts. After the Second Wizarding War he became an Auror and rose to the position of Head Auror at the age of 26. By the summer of 2020 Harry was promoted to the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Ron Weasley assisted Harry and Hermione in the hunt for Voldemort's Horcruxes and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. Ron was a member of Dumbledore's army and demonstrated a talent for Wizard's Chess. After the Second Wizarding War he became an Auror, along side Harry. Ron was an Auror for two years before retiring and joining his brother George at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

Hermione Granger assisted Harry and Ron in the hunt for Voldemort's Horcruxes and fought in the Battle of Hogwarts. Hermione was the founder of Dumbledore's army and was top of her year, while attending Hogwarts. After graduating Hogwarts she went to work for the Ministry of Magic, working in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Hermione eventually became Minister for Magic.

Lool. ;DJediism is from star wars and in the last census in the UK, there were thousands of people that identified that as their religion.

Everyone knows Kings Cross is an actual train station in London but ofcourse the story is very much fantasy, just like..

Harry Potter is half muggle (mum is not magical) just like...

Yes I did.

I think I read it in 2013.

I don't think it had any impact on me, apart from making me wish I was a pupil sorted into House Ravenclaw.

I don't think any Hogwarts house would fit me. I'd preferred to be a student at Beauxbatons. cool cool

You are protected, in short, by your ability to love! The only protection that can possibly work against the lure of power like Voldemort's! In spite of all the temptation you have endured, all the suffering, you remain pure of heart, just as pure as you were at the age of eleven, when you stared into a mirror that reflected your heart's desire, and it showed you only the way to thwart Lord Voldemort, and not immortality or riches. Harry, have you any idea how few wizards could have seen what you saw in that mirror?
