[ so you want to start agbero things here, this how agbero started. Guy beca quote author=TheCar post=67981109] I collect Security Deposit and he his getting it back. Security Deposit (Assurance) isn’t the property of the car owner. It’s the weekly rental that’s not refundable because that belongs to the Car Owner. Security Deposit can’t be enforced on any Car Owner because the car is the person property and he/she decide what to do. People can only advise because of their previous experience which the new car owner about to start Uber business can either choose to collect or not. Someone once claimed on this thread that he doesn’t give his Uber driver any Agreement form to signed and someone also claimed he doesn’t collect Guarantors from his Uber driver. Some collect Guarantor and doesn’t verify etc. Whether to collect or not (Security Deposit) is a choice which the Car Owner can only decide. If my Uber partner (driving the car) decide to drop my car today his security deposit is currently waiting for him in a separate account and he his getting his credit alert before I collect my car key. Am sure if we don’t have cases where some drivers default on a pre-agreed weekly rental the case of collecting Security Deposit wouldn’t have started in the first place. If possible, I would like to do prepaid weekly rental, so that I don’t have to collect any Security Deposit from the driver. I think if Car Owners start doing prepaid weekly rental there will be no need for security deposit. But the question is, would you as a driver prepay your weekly rental? Also if prepaying weekly rental is implemented, are we not setting the barriers of entry too high for new drivers?

quote author=Adewaley1987 post=40787019]Am Thinking of being a partner... Need more clarification... I heard from a Uber drivers that Uber cut the driver offline if they don't meet a certain rating 1-3 is bad rating while 4-5 is good rating, and such driver would not be allow to use Uber again...as the drivers told me...So I think basically Uber his not protect the drivers, they are the one working- really hard to make money for the partners and themselves also...also such drivers would have a family to feed... If at all any of the drivers have 1-3 good rating, its the partners that need to query the driver and not Uber disconnecting the drivers without not letting the partners know about it... If what these drivers told me his true...then if the partner chose to drive his car...same issue will occur? I think that's quiet bad...(Not Protecting the drivers)? Need more clarification on these please?
No we need to get things right .. Uber company is trying to protect their image from bad drivers using their app.. Firat , where did a driver get such low rate and another driver with high rate .. Its simple .. Its BC d drive with low rate lack tolerance or bad service directly or indirectly dealing with Ur clients |

Enyinne: Get in touch with Damilola (NL Moniker - Darmilolah). His mobile number is stated at his signature on Nairaland. He has a mechanic in Lagos Island good with Toyota Corollas. I believe that should be close to you (I assumed you live on the island). Anyway, you guys (Gazzuzz & U) are both elders on this thread so I trust you will agree to disagree and disagree to agree. brogxy:While you're having the best day, am here having the worst day. Woke up as usual, used my car remote to open my car. The car security alarm went off, I tried using my key to put it off it refused. I tried forcing the key into the car key hole, it refused entering while forcing it the car key broke in the mouth, had to use plyer to remove it after much struggle, I came out, now my whole compound is awake because of the alarm. Anyway to cut the story short, I finally dealt with it. Now am online by 8am on taxify no request waited till like 9am no request, drove round my usual spots I get request, still no request. I requested my self to confirm everything was okay, it came in. Now I decided to switch to Uber as taxify no get request. Entered uber now I noticed I have been signed out, tried signing back in, they keep asking me for verification code that has refused dropping on my phone, I tried it about 10x they banned from trying again that should wait for 2hrs to try again, so I google what the problem was. Saw online that I need to make sure my line is not on Do not disturb mode. Immediately I called mtn customer care, and the lady representative told me my line was truly on do not disturb mode, so I told her to put it back on, which she did. To cut the story short till now I still can't get the code. Back to taxify Went back online got one request after 30min, the lady said we will go to different places see me happy. Now I got to her destination she said her BF refused letting her leave the house, that I should cancel. E remain small make I collect the BF number ginger am. Now it's already 11am, so I said let me just go and handle my other business then come back by 1pm to chase taxify evening trip. 1pm came back online still no trip, now I noticed my Wi-Fi Ntel is misbehaving, tried my GLO subscribed line inside my phone, something I subscribed last week, I saw I don't have subscription on it, I madt. Tried using my Accessbank app to sub, the app was misbehaving too, taking so much time to load, then after everything it will not load well to work. To cut the story short, I have decided to take the day off, I believe it's for my own safty God is in control. 6 Likes 1 Share

thebigkendo: Sludge isn't related to timing chain belt but the people involved have history on this thread. I also follow some people on this thread to learn from their experience and the two elders are part of those people so it is easy to connect some dots. Yeah, I do have a old deactivated Nairaland Moniker and this new moniker start with a fight with those people that attacked me on the old deactivated moniker. |
