Equally, our written history were not manufactured out of thin air, a writer took narration of the events from an oral chronicler. Do you disagree? So our oral history form the genesis of what is now written about us. Let us stop dismissing the power of oral history but we embrace people like Olfert Dapper and call him an authority, even though he has never in his life stepped foot on our soil and cannot vouch for the nonsense he wrote.
