no doubt we need more companies to list to deepens the NSE. numbers has declined in d past 8years. and close to a quater of Listed stocks are inactive. I want to see a situation where we will have over a thousand of active equities. the recent activity in d insurance sector was a big relieve

I have been reading up on this stuff. And i was told one should be wary of trade volume on the listed companies.
The thing is every time i look up the top gainers, most of them never changed hands. At most one could have 100 even at that the price listing almost never budges.

Nigeria’s central bank will start to auction the Chinese yuan within the next month at an exchange rate to be set via book building, an official said on Thursday, in an attempt to reduce its reliance on the U.S. currency for imports from Asia.

I hope this won't be another Oando. The MD has shares in Ocean and Oil.

He left Oando for Notore, after buying FG shares.

He is one of the 3 musketeers at Oando, he is Wale's goon.

Wale, Boyo and Jite are the 3 musketeers.

Crude Oil's Bullish Weekly Vs. Monthly Reversals
https://www.investing.com/analysis/crude-oils-bullish-weekly-vs-monthly-reversals-200323415

bottom line:
overall immediate-term outlook is unclear
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by fxuser: 2:19pm On Jun 10, 2018
Weekly Trend Check
Using the 40 week MA (also = 200dma)

Above it's 40Wk MA
- Nestle
- Zenith
- UBA
- FCMB
- FBN
- Fidelity

Below d 40wk MA
- NSE Bank Index
- NSE Index
- GTB
- Access
- DangCem
- Nbrew

We need more heavyweights to break back above the long term trend line.

General
Weekend charts
- everything resemble crypto charts loll
- breaking above the 50dma is d real war , d bears are holding that line well
- short term opportunity shud be precise and kept short term loll
- d shorter trend lines are all looking down , d long ones are flat and some looking down .. #FLAGS
- dis bounce resemble possible bear trap ! #sigh
- hv seen 2/3 death crosses (seeing textbook stuff is another thing entirely lol)

I don’t understand
Is Zenith, UBA, FCMB,FBN, Fidelity and GTB not under NSE Bank Index ?
I think the Indexes should be on their own and not among the stocks they consist of.
Stock to Stock
Index to Index
If NSE Index Below d 40wk MA it affects all na abi ?

Summary:
- A cat has received a very extensive makeup as a bull.
- Do not insist to be right for long.
- Put your sell button under your pillow, if you are in the market.
- Do not seek experts' advice at this stage, experts are in a limbo.... grin
