Morning Guys, after waiting for 5 weeks, i have been granted CAQ. But right now, I am thinking of deferring my admission till Winter Semester (January)because of the time frame. I am supposed to resume 4th of September. What do you bosses think please? Can i still make it or i should defer the admission? And I am thinking of changing school if i am given study permit but i don't know if Concordia university refunds tuition fees please.. Right now, i don't know where to start from...and i am already gathering all the required documents... 1 Like |

thompson1510: I used less than a week to put my application together, and got my visa within two months. I suggest you go ahead and apply. Now that you have a CAQ, it appears Quebec Government says "Come", your application will likely not take much time. cheers! |

thompson1510:Got my CAQ over the weekend too and I'm applying next week also to resume by Sept 4th. Concordia University doesn't request for tuition deposit except the CAD250 acceptance or were you asked to make a deposit? |

rolorolo: Respond to the funny concerns and let them know that you meet the requirements. Some VOs have a predetermined motion to refuse application no matter how watertight your applucation may be. 2 Likes |

rolorolo: You are right. Those Nairobi VOs are doing poor job. They don't seem to look at the application well. This is not the first case 2 Likes |

Many people will just post the reason for their refusal or the GCMS notes without posting the initial refusal letter sent to them. The tone of the last in the letter determines what they expect you to do when re-applying. If the visa just asked you to respond to the concerns, you don't need to look for additional documents or new information to supply, the refusal is just to address or explain some grey areas the VO pointed out in the GCMS notes . But if the VO mention that "this application is closed", you need to re-apply if your situation has changed or you have new information to supply. 1 Like 1 Share |

Twallace:How many locations is the study permit been processed? I don't agree with you because I believe the VOs are trained irrespective of location, the space for study permit is limited so they try as much as possible to give only genuine students. |

Reason why am asking maybe I need to find get documents for my wife or not, money is not my problem, [~quote author=Thebushboy post=68432161] Have you analyzed how much you have? Apart from the land you have in Ekiti and your father's house, have you given home ties enough thought? What form of investment do you have that brings in money monthly or yearly? How much is your school fees, how much do you need for living expenses, how much is a flight ticket to canada and how much is available in your account as you apply? How much do you have right now to cover for extra 3 people going with you?...(4000 × 3 = 12000) Please make use of these questions. I believe it would help your application. If you still have doubts with any of these, please dont submit an application for your whole family. My advice. Warm wishes, [/quote] |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by Ratawu: 4:23pm On Jun 13, 2018 |
Twallace: Yes, they are trained but many of them in Nairobi treat applications with prejudice. There was a court judgement against one of them at the Judicial review where the court lambasted the VO for poor job done. Somebody who have travelled to the UK, US twice and Canada twice on visit was given limited travel history. The court ordered that another VO should treat the application and the person was gladly approved at the UK office. 1 Like |
