fibonacci2526: I ordered for a few items through AliExpress and after 3 weeks of tracking I got a message that my items had arrived Lagos but name or address of post office was not given. I spent 3 days going from one post office to another until I found my items at NIPOST in Falomo, and still had to pay after answering over 101 stupid security questions. Couldn't they have at least called me? But Jumia will not only bring your items but deliver it to your address. I prefer Jumia jare. |

HITTED: You should simply have come to this thread to ask how you would go about it. You could have tracked your item on NIPOST where you would have known the exact PO your item was sent to. It's about knowledge. 2 Likes |

HITTED:Most of the things you wrote here are your own doing. Did you input your exact address in the space provided when setting up your account? A working phone number? On the jumia part, they have local presence here in Nigeria, so providing home delivery is easier for them. Goods that lands in the post office ought to be despatched to the addresses pasted on them, but due to the way the whole system is stuctured they hardly carry out this part. (so no blame Aliexpress on that part) I will also acknowledge the fact that there might be issues in some cases at some given period that might require patience, all in all your funds are safe. Mind you, I have been using Aliexpress and other Chinese websites for like 2 years+ and I have never had any issues, even the delay issue that happens randomly has never occured in my case. I get my goods within the given time frame. 1 Like |

scotweezy: Ok, I get you now. But I wish their services include delivery to buyer's address. I had no hassles my first time with Jumia. Time frame was the usual 3 to 4 weeks but I got my items in two weeks. |

I have phones that were dispatched to overseas February and April this year. 5 in all. Up till this moment they haven't arrived. Under normal circumstances it shouldn't take beyond 9 days. Dam5reey: |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by iheanyi4u(m): 7:32pm On Jun 13, 2018 |
henryduru2: There are no guarantees, hey we have seen shipping that takes a year to arrive. On the flip side we have seen 9 days. Just chill, in 2 to 3 weeks you should have your item |

rust6: I don't want to sound negative but many times , jumia is rubbish. They cancel orders at will. Unless u choose pay on delivery, that one will pain them more at least u have nothing to loose if they delay or cancel. For overseas shippments, it depends on the seller and the mode of transportation. This is one of accessories of redmi prime 5A ,I ordered on Saturday, 4th, this just few days ago, it was even a chinese small package they used to send it, not even AliExpress standard shipping, but I got a call from them today to come and pick my things from post office. Just less than 10 days . You can see how fast free shipping can be at times.
