I am super excited as much as I am super tensed.
Oh my dearest Super Eagles, I invoke the god of soccer as well as the most high God on your side today. It shall be perfection. This country and Africa as a whole needs a glimpse of hope today. Suddenly, it looks as though soccer holds that hope we have been yearning for. Please make us proud and don't dash our hopes.

I ball with the Eagles today...To my heart, Alliswell.

Without the hattrick, or any above average performance in WC, the UCL performance would not have been enough if:

- Argentina wins the WC and Portugal gets knocked in group stage or R16 with no standout performance by CR7

- Messi scores crucial and plenty goals in leading Argentina to win the WC.

So the UCL performance would not have been enough in such scenario. He needs performances like tonight's to augment it.

Sir please can you be kind to assist me in paying my N24,500 fee? Portal closure knocks and practicals with lectures won't let me out to find anything. Papa & Mama are retired too.

My pharmacy education is at stake and I pledge to one day return to pay you back in 3 folds.

Shehu is starting. Stop calling the coach a fool!

Then what should I call him.. A blind man I guess?.
Becoz even a 6 yr old who watched all the friends we played would concur that ebuehi should start ahead of shehu.
Shehu can't stand Croatia attack based on the matches I watched.

Game day, my frenemy. Game day.
Whatever our differences, I sincerely do hope we win. I hate losing, even though it's part of life.
Let's hope we carry our success as fashion Fc into the field.
Soar, super eagles!!!!
Smaller teams have done this before.

Yes I agree with you. I'm a fan of Ebuehi. If the coach wants to start Shehu calling him derogatory names is not the best. You can criticise his line up, his formation but to call him a fool is totally off.
Mind you, you didn't say that the decision is foolish. You called him a fool.

Why are they seeing the same scoring prediction? grin
From Croatian fan page

Lol

Are you ready? Because they are.

The day is finally upon us. Croatia will open up the 2018 World Cup against Nigeria in Kaliningrad at 3PM (ET). Manager Zlatko Dalić has said his piece on the projected lineup; but will he change anything up in the next 24 hours?

Three points out of the gate is a “must” if the Vatreni want a comfortable ride through group stage with Argentina awaiting them five days later.

I have Croatia beating Nigeria 3-1

Rohr must be in sane! If we lose today it's all his fault.
He has the tools but he's foolishly Underutilizing them.

Surely not a fool unless the person serially makes foolish decisions.

A man failed an exam, does that make him a failure?

But him starting shehu in this matching after ebuehi has proven himself severally proves nothing but foolishness.

Anyways let's just bone the matter , but I want to let u know that starting shehu in this match will spell doom for us.. Just watch and see.
I just pray he dont..
Croatia front line are going to mess him up.

Morocco and Egypt have both lost.
Tunisia, with all due respect to them, are in a group with Belgium and England WITHOUT Youssef Msakni.
That leaves Senegal, and, of course, Nigeria.
In spite of my apparent lack of faith, I hope that we can do Africa proud. Even with our average team.
And I'll be the first person to scream goalllll on this page if and when we score, and win.

He should just do the needful,a good performance and at least round of 16 will give us solid foundation for 2022 WC
I think that man has lost it. He must be crazy

Looks like Rohr will be playing 4-3-3 with shehu as right back. We're doomed. Reminds me of this proverbial; "the dog which the gods will kill is first made deaf"

Someone tell Rohr the world cup has f****** started. You're not gonna mek 5/6 changes this time. What sotta man is this?

For the 2nd halves we've played 3-5-2 against ARG, ENG & CZK, we've conceded 0 goal and we've scored 4 goals averaging 1.3goals every 45mins. Would have been better if we took our chances against Czech. Yet this man wants to stick with 4-3-3. I give up.

Anyways,I hope you don't become a nuisance to the society when the croats eat you for dinner today

dude is very good at stifling attacks coming from the right. Good at recovering after overlaps. Combines well with the attack and also has good positional sense.
Shehu dey use jazz? Or is it a federal character something?

is there anything Africa is ready for? We are in the 21st century and Africa is not ready for independence, for democracy, for ANYTHING. So, what should happen? They should wipe the continent off the world map?

Nobody is saying Africa will win the world cup, but this defeatist mentality most of you have grown with is sickening and is the reason why Africa will never be ready for anything. A continent filled with cowards that give up and run away at the first sign of struggle will never achieve a thing

Some of you call it realism. I call it cowardice. Failure never killed anyone, but anticipating failure will kill before the failure. This lack of faith in your teams will kill them more than whatever the opposition want to do

Everybody that has already been defeated before the end of this stage is undeserving to be African. Your forefathers would sneer at you all, the cradle of human civilization has been reduced to withering cowards. Losers.

who notice that the prediction of Farah the falcon against Portugal failed yesterday?

Stop focusing on predictions. Farah, Marcus, Achilles and Paul or whatever animal out there can not be trusted. You are scared that the so called Farah predicted that Croatia will win. That is nonsense. I believe the Eagles have prepared well and are physically and mentally read for today's match. I believe they can win convincingly against Croatia. I also believe that they have the capability to go far in this tournament if things go right for them. There will be surprises and i think Nigeria will silence critics. It will give me special joy if we win today. This match in my opinion is the most important match for Nigeria in this tournament. Super Eagles can do.
