COOL10:
To me,Croatia weren't impressive. Mandzukic and Perisic didn't even play well. We were able to hold our own but we just couldn't link up with the attack hence,no goals and that's the result of an inappropriate formation. 3-5-2 works for us. How can you not use something that works for you? It baffles me.
Rohr needs to rethink oo
They didn't even play anything. We basically scored all the goals.

Mikel was stranded, Etebo confused, Moses diving , Ighalo isolated, Musa headless chicken and ROHR empty brain

forget Iceland, they are not our problem here.

Whether they got a result or not is nothing.

Rohr goofed big time
Actually it is not nothing, I expect the Eagles to improve very much against Iceland and I won't be surprised if we win that game. Nigeria has a knack of always starting poorly in major tournaments but improve as the tournament goes on, just like in the last world cup when we drew Iran but ended up defeating Bosnia.

I don't know if Rohr didn't learn anything from the friendlies. Play 3-5-2, pair Mikel with Ndidi, play Iwobi in the number 10 role, pair Iheanacho with Ighalo upfront. How is this simple too difficult to understand or execute?

How can all and sundry see that 3-5-2 is the best formation for a team except the coach, who picked the personnel himself for Fucck's sake?

That was what he is suppose to do. Victor Moses was right on point with all his decisions today. He was simply the best in the attack followed by Ighalo.

OK. Lets see what people think.

Was it a penalty? Considering the referee missed a blatant elbow on Leon Balogun. I think the referee was against us, plus how can an Italian be VAR ref? European refereeing a match involving an European.

Firstly, congrats to the croats even if dey werent fantastic....Our Coach has been unneccessarily conservative.....d essence of friendly matches is to determine d best formation dat suits ur team....we in a very tough group n are doomed to play a 3-5-2 on the basis of our perfornance in d friendly matches as we were pathetic wen we played 4 at d back due to d seemingly lack of creativity in d team and judging by how pathetic the team played against serbia,england(1st half) and czech republic....d coach has to defend our pride and play our best team....i ll neva av an ebuehi on d bench for shehu and will play iwobi in d most creative role possible and will definitely find a way to defend set pieces beta...In all,not much was really expected from dis team despite d good preparations dey av had as d experience gap will definitely show up at some point....good luck to d team against iceland and d argies!

Whatever the tactics Croatia would have won. The team has no believe.
Check out Peru v Denmark, Peru kept up the fight till the last whistle. That's the mark of a team with desire.

Croatia just blow us soft breeze, na so we fall yakata.

I very much agree. There was no believe whatsoever.

He got all the tactics wrong.

I told my friends, I'm not new to the problem with Rohr. Valverde did the same to us for majority of last season.

"let us push for a draw in the first half" thinking, "then we fire them in the second half"

Very wrong something. You don't set out to drop points, if the reports that he and his boys would watch the Argies match were true, then he def didn't learn shit from it, cos if Icey had that mindset, they wouldn't draw that match.

Speaking of the Argies match, they clearly didn't watch, and if they did, didn't learn. In fact, common sense should tell them. How can they be attacking your team, and the midfielders will be jugging back? If icey did that, Argie would have desecrated them. But rara, some will be jugging, others walking, when your team is being attacked.

Stupid coach then did 3 subs he should have done before the match started.

Croatia didn't beat us cos they were better, we lost cos we were poor

Kai I’m still rooting for Super Eagles. But let Rohr take the back seat now and let one of his assistants do the selection.

. I'm telling you. Abeg next time,I don't want to see Iheanacho on the bench. How Rohr does it I don't care to know. And please he should play Iwobi and Iheanacho together. Their camaraderie is similar to The Oyinbo Wall's. Bring Ighalo in the 2nd half. Another thing,I don't want to see Shehu play any group stage match again. Now Ebuehi will have a lot to do. Mtcheww

Maybe it's because we supported them too much. NFF doing their best to make them comfortable.

I said it here that the fun and funfare got to their heads and now we are already out of the tournament

It's a fact that we might crash out without a point and then Rohr will be sacked

Then, we start looking for a foreign coach and the cycle begins again.

Seems like our senior national team is cursed

LMAO!

So you expected Eagles to perform better when our Players' favorite Thread on this Forum is this Thread?!

We too dey overhype my Brother. We nearly compared and rated Moses along with Messi and Ronaldo. The same Moses who can't lace the Boots of Leroy Sane o!

We classified Mikel as the most creative Player in the Squad with a special Igbo Title. The overrated white Onigbinde is seen as the coming of Jesus Christ.

See..... some of us saw it coming, but got no choice rather than to follow the Team blindly to avoid been eaten raw on this Thread.
