It's not entirely the faulty of the coach. This team lacks big tournament experience. Most of these guys are playing a big tournament for the Super Eagles for the first time.
You can't buy experience.

Abeg make we no dey overhype this tournament experience. This is an obvious situation. We knew where our strength lies and where our weaknesses lie. You know that we played iwobi in the middle and got a very good result at least against England. Why revert him to the wings? Who was our play maker today? Moses? Who was supposed to do ball distribution? Mikel?

Haba! The coach got it all wrong. Shikena

Oga.... We all know for a fact that it is tactics and nothing more. I can understand if he started Ighalo to wear out the opponent but by 35 mins, change ur tactics to 3-5-2 which brings out the best in your team... thw dude refused.

Small time people will say we shouldnt talk conspiracy theories. As far as I am concerned, this match was bought. Cos even a blind bat knows that there is no reason to bungle one's first match and that u put your best foot forward
If we like let's play 3-5-10 we will be beaten. This team lacks the desire to win.

I don dey watch Nig for long. We don't lose this way. Even when Denmark defeated us in 98 we fought. We were only overpowered. This one we just surrendered.

We've been here ramping up believe in the team, fending off vultures who feed on the carrion of defeat but alas even the team has no believe in themselves.

Once you lack faith in yourself even heaven cannot help you.

. I'm telling you. Abeg next time,I don't want to see Iheanacho on the bench. How Rohr does it I don't care to know. And please he should play Iwobi and Iheanacho together. Their camaraderie is similar to The Oyinbo Wall's. Bring Ighalo in the 2nd half. Another thing,I don't want to see Shehu play any group stage match again. Now Ebuehi will have a lot to do. Mtcheww
Sir forget all these playing Iwobi as AM,Mikel as DM,Iheanacho and Ebuehi must start.

Rohr is not a good tactician.

How can Rohr play 3-5-2 without Ebuehi.

He got his tactics right.I think Ebuehi failed a late fitness test.

My line-up for Iceland and Argentina games.

Uzoho

Ebuehi. Balogun. Ekoong. V.Moses

Ndidi. Etebo

Mikel
Iheanacho. Iwobi

This will be our formation if we actually want to qualify from the group.

Mikel as AM,Nacho and Iwobi as false 9's and V.Moses as LWB.

No wonder,Rohr saw this coming and was too conservative in his press conference.
So we'll play 10 against 11?

. Don't blame the coach. If after all the friendly matches, he never saw how good ebuehi is. Then something is telling me in super eagles there is still federal character. All tribe must be represented.

Hmmmmm... I just hope it's not what I'm thinking. The power that be...

A match we could have easily won or drew. This is so pissing.

We played our best players in the wrong positions

-Moses was poor and should have been subbed since.
-Iwobi didn't need to go out but should have been moved to the middle.
-Shehu had no business there. His positioning and contribution has been poor in the last 4 matches.
-Etebo was very good today.
-Iheanachio should have started but from the wing.
- We should have used 352 formation, concede possession and hit them on the counter.

It's not big tournament bla bla bla. Not at all!! Iceland get big tournament experience? Look at how they contained Messi.

It's not the defeat that hurts me. We gave in too easily, just too easily.

We were like headless chickens with no BELIEF OR CONVICTION.

We didn't press as a team or attack as a team lacking cohesion.

The formation was wring but even worse was getting players to play positions that curtails thier contribution to the team.

Mikel can not play behind the striker hr I'd just too slow and presents no real offensive threat. Etebo.who should have been pressing was made to be the holding midfielder.

Our defence of set pieces is WOEFUL I thought by now we should have got that sorted out.

For sometime we have known that Shehu has weaknesses we also noted that Idowu is not as good as we thought.

Simi coming on for three minutes makes no sense to me.

Rohr is a 100 percent to blame.
He got his tactics 100 percent wrong. Mikel should be playing as a DLP. Iwobi as a 10, Etebo out wide.
Rohr becomes nothing more than a budget Godwin Uwua when he can't motivate his players. My eyes are open now. I was hoping he'd change and spring up a surprise but this guy is tactically useless.
Keshi is a better tactician

Amodu was a better Tactician

Siasia is a Million times better
Oliseh is not his mate.

I hate this guy man. It's so painful that Croatia didn't even need to get off first gear to beat us COMFORTABLY.
Bleep Rohr abeg!!
Mikel have never played that position for Nigeria. We can blame the coach all we want but the truth is that our players aren't world cup standard.
Look at the goal return of our starting front 3 for their clubs.

I feel very sad for Pinnick though. He's done what no NFF President has been in our history.

I can't help thinking that if our previous teams have had this kind of support we'd have gone far in our previous campaigns.

Such a shame to subject such a dedicated administrator to this kind of sorrow.

Even if you played Iwobi in midfield, nothing would have changed. Absolutely nothing.
We'd still have lost.

Mikel played as a DLP in the last world cup. Mikel only started having an extended run as a 10 under Rohr.
We made it very easy for Croatia. His tactics were wrong.

egbon ,we even had substandard players in 2014 and we drew an iran that beat morrocco yesterday and a bosnian team that plays better than this overrated croatian team. was a babatunde world cup standard that troubled a very good bosnian side and gave a delightful pass to musa to score one of the best goals in 2014 against argentina.

How world cup standard are iceland players for christ sake

Shehu messed up in out friendlies and this man blamed it on fasting, moses played wing back today, shehu made he drop so deep and wide, shehu never contributed anything going forward
