U only need the minimum requirement in WAEC which U didn’t have. Those were analogies he brought in. Madam I don commot this discussion. I no fit argue like woman.
safarigirl:
I don't understand your arguments, but JAMB and WAEC are pretty much even.

For instance, the first admission I got was because I had a high JAMB score, but do you know what made me lose the admission? I failed to get a credit in WAEC and that was that. Someone with a score of 210 or 201 entered University and me and my 259 sat home.

So, you see, JAMB without solid WAEC is useless

Baba wont play back 3.

442...
Ebuehi Balogun Ekong Elderson

Vic Moses onazi Mikel etebo

Simy ighalo

Honestly, In terms of formation to adopt I think this is the most uncertain Super Eagles team I have ever seen.

The coach is playing something else the fans are asking him to play all forms of diverse formations.

Heart racing

I also thought about dropping Ndidi but I don't know if it is wise.

I like Ighalo and Simy upfront. Etebo and Victor Moses on the flanks is good. But Mikel and Onazi in the midfield?

What I am seeing is long balls if both plays. That is what Ndidi and Etebo can't offer.

Well, let us see how Simy will use his height to knock down balls for Ighalo like Niang did.

I rate Simy better than Niang wey people dey take make noise dey disturb for here.

Really messed up starting 11 & formation. Why is Rohr so stubborn? 3-5-2 is the way to go, everyone know this

Looking like back three can be achieved provided Mikel joined Ekong Balogun

Then Vic Moses will assist Elderson
Ebuehi Wil on right

Onazi n Etebo ( to bump forward ) while onazi protect but hope onazi Won't Leave space at the middle

Ighalo n sim
While two centre forward... While not nacho...

Wetin I know

I can't just have BP cos of this people... Sad!

Mehn I'm worried about Onazi and echiejile starting.

At least going by what I saw from them during the friiendlies and some of the qualifying games.

Would have wanted idowu and ndidi instead

I'm just tired to be sincere... Looking like time wastage enduring two back to back unsuccessful AFCON qualifier then manage n support , waited for four yrs we qualify ...see what he giving us... Do we really deserve this?

Just sad right now .. Really sad can't just believe my eyes

Yes it was. Really, it was. wink

Holy moses!!! You mean you actually were that close to being watched on TV playing for the Super Eagles??! shocked Wow. There's quite a lot about your life I still have to learn about Dad. wink

No wonder you always mentioned that you played with Amuneke at some point. Wow!

But that debate was interesting sha.

One major reason I took that debate personal was because I was a victim of "You cannot combine football and your studies".

I chose studies and left football and the rest is history. Some of my team members went ahead to play for the Super Eagles while I watched them from my TV room and school hostels.

Why two CF?

Before I saw this formation, I pondered on having two strikers or a st and a S/S.

Meaning, I will pair Kelechi with Simy though Kelechi will play behind Simy. I know it didn't really work against Congo but it's mandatory we play with two strikers else one is isolated.

In the midfield, I see dem relying on long balls and crosses from the wings because we can't play through the Iceland defence. Argentina tried but failed hence the need to cross the balls into the box or we penetrate through the wings with the creative wingers like Victor Moses and Etebo.

Etebo is also good on the wing. I like this.

According to Charles Anazodo

He said Mikel to play as DM and Vic Moses as wing back

Colins Udoh too share thesame too...

They are both in Russia...

So of us saw the 3-5-2 years ago but some were to rigid to even give it a look. Now it seems like the only thing that can save us.

I honestly don't wanna analyse this. I just wanna keep mute. Rohr will surprise us with a formation and starting personnel tomorrow but maybe Colin just deliberately dropped one or two names out. We surely cannot be showing our cards this early to Iceland naa.

How effective are we with long balls?

Etebo is good with and can also give us a foul on the box

What about onazi misplaces passes?

Onazi and simmy would have be okay...

Anything can happen before tomorrow sha

Yes.
Both JAMB and WAEC are needed for university admission. If you achieve 5 credits (including English and Math), but you have a 185 JAMB score, no admission for you. And if you score 280, but get a D in English in WAEC, still no admission for you.
lol....in which school?

I know people in my school that scored 185 and got admitted and if you go to other schools like UDU, EKSU and more, you will see 185, 182 and so on. And I won't even talk about all those mushroom private universities that have recently sprung up

Yeah I played alongside Amuneke and Taribo West.

They made names for themselves at young age. But I still thank God for where I am today.

The bottomline is that Rohr faced African oppositions and doesn't have the kind of set piece stats Oliseh recorded in his verrryyy short reign. Four set piece goals in Five games with the Main Super Eagles side for Oliseh trumps Rohr's poor set piece utilisation return. If I add the CHAN, we would be talking more than four goals from set-pieces.

Rohr needs to sit up and work on our being dangerous from set pieces. A team is set up to be purposeful at set pieces no matter the opposition. That is the truth. Rohr needs to do more on that and then others.

You get time o. sincerely.

We all know that Oliseh is the only coach since 94 that made setpieces a big deal. Why explain that to him?

Recently, his analysis has been underwhelming. Making the opposition look beneath is not even a valid point. Arrgh.
