In China, Redmi 5 Plus is = Redmi note 5

In India, Redmi Note 5 Pro = Redmi Note 5

We supposedly can't get to buy the Indian version, at least not on AliExpress.

So which version is the Redmi Note 5 we all
are buying from AliExpress since we are not buying 5 Plus

Fairly used Xiaomi Note 4x for sale just like new with pack and screen guard. N50K SLIGHTLY NEGOTIABLE. Am in Anambra

Redmi 5 plus (china)---Redmi note 5 (India)

All you are seeing on alixpess is the redmi note 5 AI(if you want a keyword to search on gsm arena). So what we are buying is simply the redmi note 5. It then depends on the version you want, Chinese version with limited bands or the global version with more bands.

Your second explanation is incorrect, the only redmi note 5 global is the global version of the redmi note 5 AI.
