Just a suggestion : If the direct flight to Sask is too high... Check from Lagos to Toronto .. And from Toronto to Sask.. Maybe it will save you some extra money. Toronto to Sask is about $213 with air Canada. messynaldo: Guys going to usask. Have you booked? These fares to high ooo. Even wakanow.com sef no try. 2 Likes |

Hello house,
Your guy is here again.
I submitted my application online yesterday and just got a Biometrics mail today.
I’m in Port Harcourt, so naturally coming to do the Biometrics in Lagos should be the best option...but I’m open to Abuja.
I honestly don’t know which one to go for, but I will like to know if I need to book an appointment before Biometrics capture in Lagos and or Abuja?
Which of the two is a better option?
Many thanks to the house most especially michyehi, dubaiboy1 and mcobex for answering my earlier questions. |

Many thanks to the house most especially michyehi, dubaiboy1 and mcobex for answering my earlier questions. Abuja will be a good option. From what people say here, no crowd at all, walk in and do your thing and leave. For Lagos, you definitely wont be able to do your biometrics the same day, you first come to book an appointment and if you are late you might get an appointment for a 2days after date, if early, the next day. Plus there is always a crowd at Lagos vfs office. So, from this, which do you think is better? 1 Like |

cecechi: Long post alert….. I want to start by thanking God who listens to all prayers, my family, Raphael even if he’s no longer on this thread, frankrobben, glitteringstar, thank you so much for the SOP review and everyone who replies my questions on this thread. Below is my timeline University of Saskatchewan, MPH, Fall 2018. Applied 17th May online route Biometrics 18th May Medical request 7th June Medical Passed 21st June (I will explain the delay in my next post) Passport Request 27th June
From Me • Transcripts from my previous university • Degree Certificate • IELTS result (just submitted since I had it) • WAEC result • NYSC certificate • All health related Certificates • Employment letters (Industrial Training and NYSC ONLY, I’M A FRESH GRADUATE) • Resume • My tuition fee payment receipt for one year • My personal domiciliary account statement with over 10CAD deposited by my father • Police Clearance Certificate • Upfront medicals No travel history in fact refused visa to 3 other countries for conferences and that’s how I explained it
From my Father • Letter of sponsorship from my father • His International Passport Data Page • His personal bank statements for the past six months (we planned it so he saved money over time to avoid lump sum) • Bank reference • His personal Tax Clearance Certificate • His Certificates of Occupancy and that of his company • Proof of relationship: my birth attestation • Parents’ Marriage certificate • His recent travel history • Company Sponsorship Board Resolution (Note: they stated that they will assist my father with my expenses not that they will sponsor me. The company will not liquidate because I am going to school) • Certificate of Incorporation • Memorandum of association • CAC forms • Tax Clearance • Business bank statements for the past six months • Bank Reference • All business licenses and contract registrations
I read from thread one over 5200 pages and I learnt a lot, my advice to everyone is • READ, you will gain needed knowledge and more. • Start early to prepare physically, mentally and financially to avoid rush, believe it or not frank reviewed my SOP last year and I got my admission letter April this year, I’m sure he was wondering Nawa ooo this girl sef.. LOL, I was ready for all and applied 3 weeks after. • Submit a sincere application with necessary supporting documents backing up everything you say, they won’t waste your time if you’re straight to the point. • Finally PRAYER… GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS, ITS JUST TIME AND PATIENCE. With all these things you will succeed… I pray that God will meet you all at the point of your needs. AMEN!!!!

ebirimonyinye: Okay so it's testimony time and I think I should also testify on this platform because aside God, all the information I got was through this thread.
I have been following this thread since 2016 and I have read every single comment unfortunately I am not the type that comments.
So I got an internship program in Turkey last year and aside gathering my documents and reading through I have been very afraid about applying from a county that my status is an intern. But to cut the long story short I was encouraged by Austinpee and Osemigho I know they may not remember, so I finally applied and 4 days after I was sent a medical request surprisingly.
Timeline Submitted application: May9 Medical call: May 12 Medical done:May 14 Medical passed: May 17 Passport request: June 13 Passport submitted: June 17 Updatef to Approved: June 22 with my correspondence letter. Passport pickup mail: June 22.
Documents submitted
*all CIC forms * Letter of Explanation/SOP *Offer of Admission letter from University of Manitoba (MA Disability Studies ) · Degree certificate and statement of result from B.Ed Special Education University of Ibadan. *(NYSC) certificate · *WAEC Result *Internship Letter of Acceptance * Letter of Explanation from the Organisation stating my internship program, duration passport number etc
Sponsor * Sister’s Employment: · Sister’s letter of sponsorship(LOS) *Offer letter from where she works *Letter of Confirmation from her current job· *Photocopy of her work ID card *Statement of Account showing closing balance of 535,727 NGN (1,892.66 CAD) *Employment offer letter from(previous employer) * My SOA * Copy of my Residence Permit and Government insurance from the school I intern * My Investment letter *My CV *Copy of email between I and the registrar’s office · *Certificate of Birth * Documents to prove the identity of my siblings ( I included all their certificates of birth and International passports data page) * Copies of my passport data page and previous visa pages *Copies of Certificates from where I worked/ volunteered
Note: I did not pay my tuition so my sister sent 7m to my account and stated in her letter that she send that sum as a commitment. And lastly prayers and fasting cos honestly speaking I was very afraid given that I was applying from another country and given that I did not pay my tuition and my sister's account balance was below 1m.
Don't be discouraged.! Shalom. God can do yours.
Testimony indeed! Congrats!! 2 Likes 1 Share |
