You simply extend an invitation to a player reagaress of where they are born, and it s left to them to make a decision. There is nothing wrong with reaching their agents as well. The procedure for reaching a FB can be complex for obvious reasons. Let’s accept the reality. It is not begging until you make another move. If the player was undecided, it’s now on the player to inform whoever made the move initially, when they make up their mind.

Modified
Also consider that the structure of leadership in the NFF and SE may change. Who becomes the new point of contact in that event ? As long as Rohr is still the coach it would be easier for the players we reached out to before to get back to us.

What I meant was such players should not be given special treatment, all players to be invited should be treated on equal basis without prejudice to anyone home or abroad. I strongly wish Rohr will be retained irrespective of leadership structure in the NFF.
I am a strong supporter of Rohr and I cannot over-emphasize the guy being retained beyond 2020

Everything is possible. Only drunkards think it’s not possible. That it did not happen does not mean it couldn’t have happened.

All of them don't want to work in NPFL what about mutiu adepoju with UEFA coaching licence and he has never use it once...

Siasia, finidi... Just doing pundit everywhere..

You are right though

Exactly they just expect to be handed the national team job with zero experience. Even though Gombe got relegated last season we at least saw the work Manu Garba did.. I can subscribe to that no matter how great they were as players.

Remove your partisan shades for a moment. How can you suggest Japan and Island with their 300k population are equals ? Do you know Japan have qualified for the 2nd round of every world cup attended since 2002 with the exception of 2006? Currently the Asian champions. People have made the mistake of overrating Island because of a few famous results they earned playing 9 men behind the ball.

Secondly, I would rate this Colombia side ahead of a disorganized Argentine side coached by Messi. They play the better and more organized football.

I agree Croatia is better than Poland, with hindsight of course, judging by the lofty ranking of Poland who were even seeded in pot 1,one would have thought they had a crack team.

You, change your mindset about not seeing any thing good in your own.

Is it by Population? Then China and India would be wining the World Cup back to back. grin

That Argentine team is better than the Colombian Team. Take that to the bank tell them I sent you. grin

Yes but at the end of the day, the handlers are humans. There will always be sentiments to some extent, or at least perceived sentiments.

There is a big doubt hanging on the heads of Home based players. It’s inevitable.

Uzoho saved a one on one from Higuain.

If short Enyeama or Ezenwa my brother grin was in that post, that Messi freekick would be a goal surreal. Besides Enyeama conceded a worse free-kick from same Messi in 2014. Dis is not in any way, dissing Enyeama but people need to stop discrediting Uzoho.

I am 600% positive that Ezenwa saves the first goal.

. We are talking about quality of opposition and not the crowd factor.

You are talking as if you have not watched Russia and Uruguay play in this tourney. Forget that Russia lost 3-0 to Uruguay, they had qualified already. Talking about the crowd factor, yes it is part of it. Which is why Egypt found the opposition against Russia difficult.

Walahi, if that guy was a Nigerian his career would have ended.

He just rested on the pole and kept his hand akimbo as if he was expecting a photo shoot.

I will call that complaicancy. That is what also finished Senegal against Japan.

Thank you, everyone at the home front need to step up. We have serious work to do in our domestic league. I think Pinnick/Dikko have a great vision, but they need to move faster

Did we ever make a move for Tosin?

Yes Chinedu Ajana. Very confident baller. We also have some CBs in lesser leagues. You never know if you don’t invite them.

Let’s not forget Junior Pius

John Fashanu said Tosin would come around if we qualified for the World Cup, we finally did, the rest is history.

Junior Pius Udeme is good but he needs to sort out his career first. Last I read of him, he was caught stealing even though he was on a treatment table.

Don't be so sure. Ezenwa has a cat like reflex that is his strong point. His problem is in the air. Dele Alampasu is the closest thing to a combination of both keepers. He has the size and also a great reflexes.
