If only Penaldo had scored his penalty against Iran they would still be in the tournament. The fraud cost his team. Scoring could have made portugal win the group and face russia instead. Also they would have fallen into the weaker half of the draws and had an easy ride to the final just like it was for them at euro 2016. But the GOAT (Gayest Of All Time) had other ideas and threw away his penalty. He has now has 0 goals and 0 assists in the world cup knock out stages. #NOTMYGOAT 11 Likes |

Since Cristiano Ronaldo reached his prime (2007), Portugal played three World Cups and only won vs Morocco, Ghana and North Korea. That puts Cristiano Ronaldo’s career for Portugal in perspective. The next time someone mentions how great he was for Portugal, remind them it’s a lot prettier if you only look at the big numbers without context. 3 Likes |
