I think the reason people rate USA 94, me atleast is because all the big boys were there present(apart from France of course) . Italy, Chile, USA and Holland would have added a lot to this tournament.

By the way, Spain leaving the tournament at this stage is good riddance. Watching their ticki taka these days is like watching wet paint dry.
If they are to be successful on the global stage again, they must review their playing style.

If only Nigeria wasn't knocked out of the worldcup, the way big teams are just falling off it would have been easy ride to our dream Semi finals.

We didn't mess up at all, just ain't good enough for this Edition. We should stop giving ourselves unnecessary Headaches and false Regrets - had we done ish!.

Do we really think we would have fared better against France?! It's better we move on for good, and start hoping for a better performance at AFCON 2019, but we gonna have to qualify first.

Kayode’s Shakhtar Donetsk To Depart For Austria Ahead Second Phase Of Pre-seasoon Tour

July 1, 2018 9:58 am

Nigeria forward Olanrenwaju Kayode and his Shakhtar Donetsk teammates will head to Velden in Austria for their second training camp ahead of the 2018/2019 Ukrainian football season.

This was confirmed by Shakhtar Donetsk on their official website on Sunday.

According to the club, the team which arrived Ukraine on Saturday night from Germany after concluding the first phase of their pre-season training, will depart for Austria on Tuesday, July 3, for the next phase if preparations.

The players will be off for two days starting from today, Sunday, July 1 and Monday, July 2, before heading for Austria.

While in Germany, Shakhtar Donetsk beat Danish club Brondby 3-2 before drawing 0-0 against Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia.

Shakhtar Donetsk won the league and Cup double last season. It was their 11th league title and 12th Cup win in their history.

Kayode joined Shakhtar on loan from Manchester City and, after a successful loan spell, he signed for the Ukrainian club on June 8 on a permanent deal.

That one is a fact. Panama were just happy to score and Egypt flopped like always. The US and Ghana would have been much more competitive than those bums.

The same abysmal season he ended with goals against Arsenal and the Tottenham ba?

And how many goals did he score through the whole season in the EPL

I'll tell you 3. For a player bought as a striker for £25 million, would you say that's outstanding average or downright abysmal.

Clubs buy in form players in that context which club will be looking to pay £25 million for him now.

It’s understandable, Rohr is a German coach. He would rate players in the Bundesliga higher. Call it bias if u want.

So why do u think Pinnick seemed to only single out Tammy? If not for Mikel’s relationship with Aina, he won’t have got a look in that early.

I have had this argument with many on this forum and in the end being accused of bias.

Bayern Munich win everything in the Bundesliga and have more or less in the past twenty years. It's almost like the Scottish league with Celtic the one team far ahead also winning nearly everything.

In the Bundesliga take away Bayern and the next top 6 clubs are not on the level of Man United, Tottenham, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, but way below.

So I would rate the top 6 Bundesliga excluding Bayern Munich on par or lower with the mid table and below of the EPL.

The mid table and 3 places up and below are on par with Championship and below. For instance can you see Mainz, Freiburg, Hannover. Wolfsburg, Fc Koln winning the championship. No they would be in the relegation zone of the championship.

The Bundesliga is rated No 4 in Europe with La Liga number 1 and the EPL number 2 followed by Seria A.
That's by UEFA.

So for reasons unknown but known by some England that has the by far higher numbers of Nigerian origin players is literally left out.

Ovie Ejaria, Tega Onomah, Bobby Adekanya have not been approached. Part of the problem is we keep looking for deals.

If to say Amaju deh hear word there should be a network scouting and tracking the development of Nigeria origin players. Not waiting for them to before being considered and tested.

In this regard Iwobi had not played one game for Arsenal first team before he was called to the Nigerian senior national team. I guess big Uncle JJay open doors.

He singled out Tega Abrahams because of Warri connection. But he waited too long allowed the boy to blow and then start to take photo.

But one of the biggest problems is our past history of unfair practices and under handed practices of coaches and officials.

NFF officials don't like Nigerian origin players why Dem no deh free settle no arrangement, loyalty bonus.

Look at how Sone Aluko was treated and how Hope Akpan was treated and it sets a pattern. A pattern of use and abuse.

Exactly they just expect to be handed the national team job with zero experience. Even though Gombe got relegated last season we at least saw the work Manu Garba did.. I can subscribe to that no matter how great they were as players.

Which one will you subscribe to NFF sponsoring NPFL coaches for coaching training or compelling them to do it themselves

Man if u are as big as u claim, walk up to Pinnick, this is not the place to invite ur boys. No dey disturb us here. Grow some balls like others and meet Pinnick. Record ur conversation with him before we start taking u seriously.

Na here wey u dey, dey blab, Pinnick go hear u?

Abeg shift

Firstly, I am not big I know a few people in English football, that's all.

Surprisingly, a few are club Managers one in the EPL. These guys are club managers buy are not as proud conceited, pompous and without integrity as our NFF guys

Our guys look for the deal first before the best player.

So considering that kind of shameless environment, I am sorry I can not participate. However if they can change thier spots and sincerely want players based on merit and performance.

Then talking to Amaju na small matter.

Now that we've been ousted from the world Cup, this thread is now moving in a considerable and moderate pace.

The way it was moving sometimes around 2 weeks ago was too fast to keep up with the the pace.

Not over yet. I keep pointing out that Forlan was a total flop in Manchester United and many wrote him off. In Villareal under Pellegrini, he was the best striker in the whole of Europe, if not the World.

When Nacho had a healthy run under Pellegrini at City, he pulled stats that were up there with the best in the World. I will judge Nacho after a healthy run under the right system that suits him.

Apart from that, Mbappe's physical attributes are insane. Props to the young man.

What you have described is simply the nature of LIFE. We know life is not fair.

Opportunity is mostly created by association sometimes by chance and finally by the overwhelming grace of God.

In football OPPORTUNITY is everything and without it irrespective of your talent you will not go anywhere.

In my opinion KC has had a lot of opportunitieshr has not used them. Quality players adapt and dont look for teams to adapt to them. Most players have to adapt opportunity for the team adapting to you is luxury.

However, if you can find that right team that is matched to your particular attributes your succes can be better proven and indeed can be the difference between failure and succes.

KC succes was entirely under pinned by the top quality world class players around him. Not about his individual brilliance. I said this donkeys ago.

That the true test of KC ability and quality will be when he leaves Man city. And has to prove himself without the support and quality all around him. Well he has moved and has simply failed.

Most academy boys in clubs look very good even up too U23 level. But the number who make it after leaving the club is in the minority. Actually 76% of players from academies end up not playing professional football.

Non league football is actually much tougher than academy football.

Osimhen should push for a loan move

On what basis years of academy football.

He needs to break into the first team of Wolfsburg.

Shockingly he was invited to the SE totally unproven totally unjustified but why

I said it ages ago and was slated on this forum right left and center. That he would struggle to make it into a English EPL academy.
