Hi Guys!

I'm super excited. Finally Got approved!

My hugging partner harde116 up next!

Applied on 20th of April,

Did medical upfront

Applied for an MSc Degree

Didn't get an Approval mail just checked online as soon as I saw Harde116 had his medical request

I applied with:
The required online documents IMXXXX
Sponsorship Letter
Sponsors Investment Letters (Treasury Bills)
Payment Instructions for Part Payment
SWIFT Message Confirming Successful Transfer of Part Payment Funds
Sponsors Bank Account Statement (4 months)
Admission Acceptance Fee Payment Notification
Employment Letter for My Current Job
Admission Letter from School
A 2 page SOP in the Client Information section
Proof of Medical Exam
Passport Photo
Scanned Passport and Visa Pages

Note the following:
1. Up until today only Biometrics showed Completed and Background check has been running since, Eligibility just went under review on the online platform too. Still there

2. Also, according to the document (and like I was informed in this group even as I found it hard to belive), visa will only be issued for till the expiry of the passport so I'll apply for an extension when I'm in Canada by Gods Grace after renewing my Passport when I land in Ontario (not my final destination). I didn't renew my passport because of the 9 or 6 months renewal rule. Chose not to renew my passport after I submitted because I applied based on the current passport data. Also because I read somewhere about the passport having to be more than 6 months old (I doubt the veracity though but better safe than sorry)

3. You're the first people I'm sharing this news with. I really appreciate this forum.

4. Nursing malaria's gonna wait cuz this Nigga's driving to VFS asap.

Thank you all for your assistance and hope. #GodsGrace

Congrats Sir. I rejoice with you.

Cc: @yeahkim, That's not entirely true, there are cases where applicants don't get biometric invitation even after 2 weeks of applying. The only time you get to do biometric during submission is via paper route, as for online route you will be mailed when they have space for you(that's one of the advantage paper route has over online).
Thank you. I received an email that there was an update to my account but each time i log in i can’t see anything

Good morning to everyone in the house. I wanted to ask a question;

- should I add my Dad’s land ownership documents to my supporting documents to bolster my visa application or can I leave it out? I’m asking this because I already have 26 pages of supporting documents & I don’t want to bore the Visa officer dealing with my application.

- I have been denied once on the basis of “Purpose of visit” & “Immigration situation in country of residence” as I was in the UK at the time.

Hi Everyone,
I just got a passport request and not approval letter. Hope this is a good thing? A little bit on profile. I have applied three times. Denied twice, this is my third time applying. The only difference I did this time was to submit my personal account, and not just my sponsor, even though it wasn't a lot of amount, but I guess the VO wanted to see my own personal account. Please how do I submit my passport. Is it at VFS office, do I need to book an appointment?
Thank you

Congratulations. They requested your passport so that they can stamp your visa.

Let me login and check mine too.

I just check and it’s now under review. I guess our application is being processed by the same visa office. Let’s hope and pray for the best.

Hello I was rejected on the following grounds.

Travel History
Family ties
Purpose of visit
Current employment situation
Financial status and Personal asset

Now the thing is that all the above mentioned, I presented documents for them including travel history as well, I also presented family asset because my father is my sponsor and his financial statements was about 18m.
My application process took less than two weeks and a decision was made.

Could it be that I made an error feeling my application form. Or what do u guys think
