Onazi's case was a different thing bro, Onazi was denied bkus of work permit, also Onazi wasnt wanted by any top league but a division two club Birmingham. Also Onazi didnt get the look in playing for the NPFL rather, the Turkish super league


Talking about Onazi, I doubt Birmingham would come back for him now that he has qualified for that work permit, since he couldnt maintain that momentum that made them ask for his siggy initially. (this is a dfrnt debate though)

Taiwo, Uwa and Co opened that door for our NPFL players to the ligue 1. But u won't be wrong to say that Uzoenyi's failure has kinda closed that door a bit.


Back then, our NPFL players were flooding the Belgian league without trials but same cant be said of the present day NPFL players just because the league has been destroyed.

do you know if porto backed out or their offer and conditions didnt match that of the player and his parent club arsenal? instead of being signed by porto where he maybe be sent to the team B its better he joins NAC breda if he is assured of regular playing time. our problem is we over rate some of this kids and when our expectations are not met some gets frustrated. nwakali jnr who played in the dutch 2nd division may find it difficult to see game time in an ambitious club like porto. if the dutch move materializes he should continue his development there.

Hamdi's case makes me have more respect for his father Chika Akujobi. Chika never tried blocking his boy from representing Nigeria unlike Ojokojo, the father of Jordan Torunarigha. I have seen Hamdi play, he is so good.

I am tipping him to make considerable number of appearances for the Heerenveen first team when the season begins.
