He set up some institutions that would help guide, remind the church (people inside the building) about the final aim of getting to heaven.

But as it happens in some circles, some administrators are going overboard with it and doing things not required, frustrating members like he mentioned the Marriage committee...

Don't come up with the "do not judge" statement of Jesus because He said "the measure you give to others is exactly what you'll get" meaning "if you're condemning any act,do so with the reference from God's word and not your self imposed righteousness" because when you say "it is a sin to laugh" when God's word never said so then God won't include that in HIS own standard but HE will hold you accountable if you laugh because you set the standard!

They are not doctrines sir, but Church administration e.g the Marriage Committee. The pastor established them for the smooth running of the Church and for the ease of the members but are being abused by some of his lieutenants.

I think its important for religious leaders to let their congregation know that they are Humans too ie. they too can make mistakes.

For instance despite that all banks are regulated by the Central Bank, each bank has its unique administrative system - from First Bank, to Zenith, to UBA, to Wema, to Union to Eko bank etc. In the same vein, the doctrines taught are from the Holy Scriptures or the Bible but the system of administration in Deeper Life is different from those of the Apostolic Faith, Redeemed Church, Watchman Catholic Charismatic, Asssemblies of God Church, the Lords Chosen, Living Faith, etc. However, certain leaders are abusing such Church rules to the detriment of the Church which prompted pastor Kumuyi to warn that he might be forced to proscribe them.

NO Sir he is not admitting any mistakes here,but telling the world that he intentionally added some things that is unscriptural for a hidden agenda best known to him. Unlike true Christians who do things out of mistake and go for correction whenever they discover it.
