applied at the beginning of May but i did not get any response not even biometrics till ending of May, but i was asked to bring another recent statement of account which eventually happened at the beginning of June so after like a week or so i got my biometrics request which i did on the 14th of June but till now I've not gotten request for medicals or anything and time is going, What could be the problem?? just a bit worried. Or maybe it could 'be that they are dealing with a lot of applications . And for those already in Canada, which is better on campus or off campus?? I got admission into University of New Brunswick St John, MBA, fall 2018. |

hotcakept2:Most people apply by themselves and get the visa. You are already here why not read about this thread from Episode one.You will learn a lot about applying. In my own opinion no need wasting money paying an agent. |

Decline:use ilovepdf or pdfcompressor. Google both of them. But ilovepdf is much more preferable and it's also good for merging of PDF docs 1 Like |

Good evening all.... I got my gcm's note, been able to put my doc together but then, I haven't paid my fees, and payment is due August...... Considering the processing time, is it advisable to go ahead and pay the fees before putting up the application? Note: if I don't pay by 1st week of August, I ll loose the admission. If I pay and don't get approved I'll loose my money. For my chosen course, there's no January session till fall session next year. Pretty confused |

hotcakept2: You know what you want for yourself. An agent doesn't understand how much you want a study permit. They can't understand the depth of your desires and passion. Neither do they understand what part of the shoe hurts most. You don't need so big grammar to write a convincing Sop. You need to express your thoughts plainly and ensure the most important points are Stated. You can use samples of other people's sop here.. Check page 0 , Just to give an idea of what it is about. Also there are people here who could help review your sop before submitting. My little cent tho It will end in praise. 1 Like |

Hi everyone, I am here in Malaysia with student visa, i did my degree here and also doing my masters right now,i want to apply for student visa in Canada but people are saying that i have to go back to my home country because i have no tie here. that i should apply from Nigeria showing my husband company certificate and funds to sponsor me. Also i will like to know if i can go and apply from Nigeria and come back to Malaysia after submission and it is a good idea to do my biometric here in Malaysia and also medical here or i have to do all in nigeria because i apply there? Pls your advice will go a long way. thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by mcobex: 5:21am On Jul 09, 2018 |
bisimo:Since you still have a study visa in Malaysia you can apply there, infact the process should be much more easier for you. Go to cic page and check the processing time for Malaysia applicants. The only time you can't apply from another country is if you are on visiting visa. NB: That doesn't stop you from still using your husband's company papers, but trust me I think you have a better chance applying in Malaysia. Best of luck 3 Likes |

Clara2244: it took me just a week to get a response from them. They will send you a conditional acceptance letter which requires full tuition payment after which they will send you a final acceptance letter for study permit application. send me a message for more information. |

Please can anyone advice me on what to do regarding my nysc certificate. I finished serving in 2015 but had issues regarding my certificate and it was transferred to abuja. when I got there mid last year I was asked to come back because the person discharging certificates wasn't on sit. This was very frustrating because I had to travel all the way from lagos. but I need to submit my visa application and I don't know if it's compulsory to add a discharge certificate. p.s I have my certificate number and all other relevant document but just not the discharge certificate. KINDLY ADVICE |

I think it's required that you have it stamped, and it is even better. You don't want to leave anything to chance. If he is not in Nigeria, he can do an official email to them, have them print and stamp, then he sends a letter of identification to you and them and your means of ID. It is not much of a big deal, that was the same thing my brother did for me. Abeg don't leave anything to chance, these things are quite sensitive. All the best. yk05: |
