ykalhaji: Etebo is 22 and not 20. I think he will be 23 this year. So nothing out of the ordinary for a 21/22 year old with lots of money and fame to get a young lady pregnant. By the way, the lady is not his wife but his baby mama. 4 Likes |

Danielnino00: Yes..... the Preparation was a top-notch. NFF did their best to ensure the Team is well prepared with no iota form of Distractions, I guess for the first time since I've been following the National Teams. We've moved on already, but my Point exactly is; Rohr should never be the Coach to lead us to Qatar 2022 except he would go for further (advanced) Coaching Courses, learn under top Managers in the World for at least 2 Years. However, in my Opinion, NFF should honorably discharge Rohr after the AFCON 2019, then hire a real World-Class Coach on a 3 Years Contract with an Option to extend based on his Performances, to lead us to Qatar 2022. 2 Likes |

Only a bias English man will say that,no English midfielder will make Barcelona team self,a team where rakitic is a starter I told him I will leave kovacic for another day because I don't want much argument and I also know no English midfielder is also up to his standard. The English team are better with their forward because harry Kane is there. Defence wise I don't even see them better than the Croatians |

Chrismario: Onyedinma is not in any predicament, he played the vast majority of games for Millwall in the Championship 36 games last season if I'm right. So he is not a bench warmer. He mostly plays on the wing however, this manager has stifled his inventive and skilful style of play to a no frills results and end product approach, based on endeavor. He is not an academy player he has played over 174 games of professional football he still only 21. Osimhen is not anywhere near his level infact he is not even on the bus. Nwakali is considerably lower too. So what is there to compare. Osimhen and Nwakali were invited on the basis of clear favoritism and past youthful glories in the Nigerian U17 yet to be transferred to the field of senior professional football. Fred Onyedinma given the same opportunity to contend for a place in the SE what do you think would be the result |

komekn: You can't give England work over cos Croatia isn't a joke... This is a team that have been together for years with a good technical coach... It is going to be a good fight I hope it won't lead to penalty shoot out. It seems this is England year alot has been spent on the league and infrastructures combining with a dedicated good players working as a team. I have a feeling England will win this world cup they have a very good transition with good management but my bias mind want France to win... They deserve it! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Certitude: Let's not go down this road. I find people get hysterically hypocritical and delusional. In Nigeria age falsification did not start with football, we do not even know the ages of our presidents. Age creation is in every facet of life in Nigeria. Teachers, Military personnel, police, people are even getting married to women older than them without knowing or finding outvwhen it's too late. We do not have AUTOMATIC BIRTH DATA CAPTURE so it's officially impossible to verify and substantiate anybody age. So leave matter for Matthias. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Ghana striker Asamoah kept playing for Ghana when he was in Quatar. Thus guy is not young understand me, football is a very short career. Let him collect better money and relax. He can still play for the SE if he is good enough. |

Anybody who still believes Gernot Rohr has something to offer us is not mentally well. There is NOTHING, I repeat NOTHING special that Rohr did at the WC which our indegenous coaches wouldn't have done. Why on earth should a right thinking coach pick the hopelessly poor Idowu ahead of Ebuehi? I don't recall a single meaningful cross Idowu made throughout the entire tournament!. He can't take on players, can't defend, can't pass, can't control the ball, can't bomb forward, nothing!. It was clear right from the Poland friendly that Idowu was the weakest link in the team. When Ebuehi changed the game against Iceland, I thought our coach will finally receive sense and start him against Argentina, But Rohr, the German FOOL still started Idowu!. I nearly shed tears when I saw Idowu in the lineup before the match. Rohr's excuse? "Well, he was born in St. Petersburg so he knows the ground best". Such unbelievably stupid logic!. So as the AFCON will be held in Cameroon we need to look for Cameroonian-Nigerians or at least Nigerians who play in Cameroon who " know the ground" too!. I daresay Genort Rohr has absolutely no control over what tactics he plays. He simply does whatever the big players and media asks him to do. After Croatia, the media clamoured for a 3-5-2 formation and Mourinho said Mikel is better as a deep lying playmaker than an AM. And Rohr did just that!. Played 3-5-2 with Mikel as libero!. Because Mourinho said so! The earlier we send that white Salisu packing, the better for our football. *crawls back to my cave* 2 Likes 1 Share |

andrew444:Well. This ain't about belief or hypocrisy. There was a basis for defending Uzoho, as he passed through the MRI scan. What will I use in defending Etebo? * Without prejudice to the accuracy of the MRI scan. |

Chrismario: So because he played in the NPFL he is over age, alright no arguement concerning that. Go and check those football academy and foundation and see many 25 years old there claiming 17,I know what I am saying. They are so many over age players in academy just as the npfl, take it or leave it 1 Like |

Certitude: No doubt that Ebuehi is faster than Idowu. There is a big chance that Ebuehi would have performed better. It might not be overwhelming but certainly a fraction better. There is no way the slower option was the better choice. 2 Likes |
