pre degree as in how in medicine? ?? Madame it's either ur husband switched from one course to medicine or he did pre degree science / jupeb which z a coaching programme which last for 6- 12 depending on the institution. its meant to prepare people who are 2ru with secondary for university.Go and ask him well..
Nope. She’s right. I graduated from Lautech and I am 1000% sure Lautech has a pre-degree program that accepts into 100L for ALL courses including MEDICINE. Infact, most of the medicine class consisted of people that did predegree. I had lots of friends who studied medicine as my roommate in school was a medical student. Even their best graduating student came in through pre-degree. I wanted to chip that in since but I didn’t want to be seen as supporting that quack doctor.

And btw: I don’t know which part of Nigeria you’re from. But, the pre-degree I know (Lautech) is not meant to prepare people for university education, it’s is meant to be a another avenue into getting into universities for those who can’t pass JAMB for some reasons. You do a one year per-degree in Lautech and then at the end of the one year, you take a really comprehensive exam. You have a choice of two courses to chose and you’re assigned your courses based on your final pre-degree scores. The people who don’t make the cut for their courses are given any course that they can lay hands on, unless they fail really woefully and then they are denied admission.

Lautech pre-degree even has an entrance exam, FYI. I took the entrance and failed. The irony was that I actually passed JAMB that same year and eventually my friends who had taken the exams with me and passed eventually were a year behind me then. Just letting you know.

thanks dear for your response I'll look into that however its destroying the remaining small swimmers in dh now motility is 0% while 90% are dead I think at this level we need a strong antibiotics to destroy it. pls anyone who has conquered heavy growth of staph should pls tell me what you did. thanks and God bless.

RE: STAPH PART 1

fruitfulnathia I understand how you feel because we both seem to be experiencing similar circumstances.

I've been fixated on this staph issue, spent much trying to treat the staph found in my husband's specimen, all to no avail.

Even those who said they've treated it successfully later came back to say the the staph came back.

A few doctors have begged me to forget staph and focus on getting the right diagnosis and treatment, I refused to listen because I couldn't think of any other culprit.

Not until some formerly ttc mums and dads who had similar reports that we had finally convinced me that staph is not a barrier to conception. I believe them because they have their bundles of joy as evidence.

Here's what a dear friend advised from her personal experience:

1. Ignore the staph report.

2. Husband should take 4-8 bitter kola daily.

3. Take Wellman Conception for men and women

4. Take lots of fruits and veggies, water, detox with natural home remedies like garlic, ginger, lemon, cucumbers combination or the tumeric, garlic, ginger, cloves combo, bitter leaf and scent leaves, etc.

Another Papa advised me to:

1. Visit a fertility doctor whom he recommended who asked him to carry out some tests including a hormone profile. Testosterone was low, but the doctor asked him to ignore the low testosterone and staph report.

The doctor prescribed addyzoa and vitamin E. Today he's the father of wonderful children and still has staph in his specimen report.

They strongly advised me not to take any more antibiotics for it.

The doctors say the reason it keeps "coming back" is because it's a natural part of the body flora.

My thoughts are: staph is like Candida and can live around us without causing problems. Except the immunity is low.

Or you can try the Rocephine injection + other sensitive drugs as highly recommended by mamatwiny.

Again the Swissgarde company has herbal medicine for staph. They come highly recommended as many people have testified that they got cured.

It's somewhat pricey though, but may be worth it. The only reason we're not trying that yet is because of the cost. So we are going for the cheap natural remedies.

Hello house,

It's been a while that I've been on NL. This forum has really helped me actually esp to douse my anxieties and answer questions.

TTC is quite a journey. Just to encourage us not to give up cos our miracles are on the way. I'm here to share my story to encourage someone. I was used to clomid treatment and tried it again for another pregnancy but it didnt work. Spent quite an amount of money on that and injectables. I had practically given up. A colleague at work just mentioned that ewuro (bitter leaf) is quite good for ttc. Although I hate taking bitters and rejected the idea for some months but when I realised that pcos is somehow related to insulin resistance and some blood sugar issues I decided to try it. So in addition to the exercise I was doing, I added bitterleaf juice and sometimes I just boil a few leaves and eat. Once I drink water the sweet taste comes out so its quite easy to take than bitters.

I had also used ovacare for almost two months but didn't notice anything. Because of cost, I decided to change to m2tone. I had taken the m2tone for about a month before I got a bfp.

Sincerely, what actually worked I cannot say. Maybe it is a culmination of all I was doing, exercise, reduction in carbs in order to reduce my weight, bitter leaf, ovacare and m2tone. But I know clomid didn't work for me this time and all the injectables I tried to use to induce ovulation because I kept tracking with scan.

Just to encourage someone not to give up. Keep praying and confessing. Call forth that child even by name. Sometimes when it's time for testimonies in church I'd go out to read a psalm that talks about God healing all my diseases and answering my prayers. Sometimes our spouses are also tired of ttc and it takes a toll on the marriage, please don't hold it against that spouse, they are just human like us all. Just keep pushing. At a point I was depressed, but God used a colleague at work to encourage me and pray with me consistently. I'm not saying I have a success formula but just to encourage us.

My prayer is that our children shall be as many as our hearts desire and we shall all be joyful parents of children in Jesus name.

Congratulations on your BFP, wishing you a healthy and happy 9months journey

Good morning everyone. I have been TTC for 17 months and I'm not giving up. I have been through the crying and depression process but still here I am. I believe crying doesn't change your situation but prayer, consistency, hardwork and research is key. Today is my AF day1. I want to start treating malaria from today and I also read something here about taking bitter leaf water as a detox. Please can someone with more information about the bitter leaf clarify so we can all learn. Thanks and God bless all mamas

Good morning and welcome, your stay here shall be short in Jesus name.

I took bitterleaf from cd 1 to cd 10, and I saw ewcm and had ovulation pain for the first time in a long time, so I guess it worked. I am also using vit e and vitex.

For the bitterleaf, just wash and squeeze out the juice ( I added honey though) or you can use blender to juice it. I enjoyed drinking it. I had to stop when my dad said it was not good to take it all the time because it is not good for the kidney. I think you should give it a try, and I didnt purge though, I thought It was going to make me purge.

God bless

You people should just stay away from here. TTC is expensive enough without the cost of scam.

Next time just hit the report button (I just did). Quoting the post spreads the information. may God help us from all these scammers/'doctors'.

I think the one from the market should be okay. I got mine from my neighbors farm.

CD 1 is the first day of your period, the next day is CD 2 and so on, continue counting again until the first day of your next period, the you start from CD 1 again.

I'm expecting AF tomorrow but I've been having cramps since Monday, my breast is so full and my hubby said it looks like ball grin, temperature sef follow and loss of appetite. It's so unlike me cos i don't usually have menstrual pain.

Was about treating myself for malaria when my mum called, she said i should go to d hospital instead. She said maybe God has answered our prayercheesy. I just dont want to raise my hope high and feel disappointed like last month cos its too early to be depressed and worried. I will continue praying to my father in heaven.

I pray and hope for the best. I'll go to d hospital tomorrow morning. I plan going to the hospital to treat infection yesterday but I was down. I just hope for the best.

May God answer all our prayers soon. Many bfp this month. Amen.

My friends mum ended up with a serious stroke and low sugar after drinking bitterleaf juice for 3 weeks cos was trying to. reduce her sugar level.

Yes. I think you should hold on with the malaria drugs and see your doctor first. Don't be worried, take your mind off it and watch God do what He says He will do. Cheers!!
