It's common knowledge that Leroy Sane was one of Europe's hottest prospects and he was going to make the transition to a bigger club eventually. In fact, from that interview he did, it's clearly evident that the reason he left the Bundesliga is due to Saint Pep's project and the thrill for conquest that you can't get playing in a mediocre one horse league like the Bundesliga.

I don't see how Sane leaving a mid table German club to go to an English top profile club with an exciting new project is a reflection of German superiority.
It's baffling to say the least.

Leroy Sane was just a prospect like Marko Marin that Chelsea came to buy. The only fact here is that Sane didnt achieve anything in Germany and wasnt rated as anything until he joined EPL and started bossing the league

Many on this forum last season were even mocking Man City for buying him but he found a league of mumu who have little football brains and was able to dominate them like the clueless Raheem Sterling is also doing

Country football is different from club he is a good player. We need a tall guy with ball sense, fast in that three man midfielder

Except maybe the Soviet curse is what we're looking to avoid. No player from that region has truly shined in the EPL since Andrei Kanchelskis.
