What a kind gesture, Nigerians have large heart and kind spirit
When you do what you do well, there's always someone somewhere who appreciates you

It is not a kind gesture when you advertise your "charity". This is self serving publicity.

Some parents are actually nice, I received a lot of gifts last Wednesday after our graduation/ prize giving day from parents.

Exactly. Don't mind these pple jare. Anytime I travel I buy sthn for my child's teacher, even if it's just a nice looking pen. All she does is talk about her aunty and the lady is always so perceptive with the kids in her care. She notes every detail.
Maybe they're not used to dt, in whatever part of the country they come from, but it's quite common.

Nice one. Though buying car over there is not a problem but insurance and road tax is what is killing people in those countries.

If it was a fellow Nigerian woman or an African woman that taught her kids, will she buy a car for them?

Just thinking out loud.
Must you always reason like this? Always making us play the victim anyways, you could still pin this nice gesture on the wonderful climes in the US that has made a Nigerian brain functional
Re: Courtney Adeleye, Nigerian Buys A Car For Her Daughter's Teacher by aribasoye1: 5:55am On Jul 18, 2018
She tried, but if it were a Nigerian teacher would she had gotten the teacher a car or does it mean no Nigerian has impressed her? Let also learn how to help each other there's a reward for every action u take

No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless. No kind action ever stops with itself.
