Here are more pictures of soldiers who were killed after suspected Boko Haram militants overran a military base in Yobe State on Saturday.

It was reported that many Boko Haram militants dressed in military apparel and armed with sophisticated weapons got access to a military facility in Jilli, a village in Yobe State close to the border with Borno State in the fringes of Lake Chad.

Before the invasion, the base had around 750 troops manning it, adding that the facility was established to contain the movement of Boko Haram terrorists’ along the Chad Basin.

Jilli village is located 60km from Gaidam, the headquarters of Gaidam local Government of Yobe State.

A soldier who survived the attack reportedly said that the terrorists went to the military facility in fleet of military painted vehicles with camouflage colours.

“There was trench around the base, but they confidently approached the gate and we opened it thinking they were troops from Gubio. They started shooting and we engaged them before they overran us,” he said.

You must be very stupid, just like every single bastard who supports Buhari is.

You think joining the Army is as simple as applying and getting the job? Or as simple as displaying strength and bravery and being employed on merit? When animals like you and your leaders up there have used nepotism and favouritism to ruin the process.. They would ask you which Emir or general or minister or presidency oga you know. I despise fools like you. Do you know how many times my own family members, friends and acquaintances have tried to enlist in the military and do you know the corruption laden 'man know man' process involved that denied them the opportunity?

It's precisely this terrible recruitment process that makes our military so weak because the wrong people are enlisted - merely because they have connections. Fools who have no passion for soldiering and who were only motivated by the prospect of impressing girls, the allure of Khaki, the 'peace time' show off and the opportunity to oppress harmless civilians and post 'Insta-gallantry' on Facebook, Twitter and Nairaland.

God punish you for being foolish enough to recklessly and disgustingly utter 'go and join the military', as if it simply boils down to choice, when buffoons like you and the partisan interests you represent have soiled the process as you've soiled everything else in Nigeria..
