The problem with the Southeast is that they look to the Southwest more than they do themselves. Meanwhile, the Southwest don't really give a ratsass about what they're up to. 6 Likes 1 Share |

izombie: Not agreeing with you on anything. Lagos state doesn't and won't determine how and when we break away from Nigeria. Continue with your ipob roadside agitation and let Yoruba people worry about their own future. |

I pray the remaining Igbos will not die with this self inflicted nightmare.Igbos world revolves around Yoruba,Yoruba,Yoruba.... Azikiwe,Ojuku,Achebe all did the same thing Why can't the Igbos solve their problems themselves without crying to the Yorubas.. 4 Likes |

Why cant you guys let Yoruba be, its no business of yours what Yoruba choose to do with themselves. you guys should be worried about your governors that proscribed IPOB, that has been your secession plans setback. Leave Yorubas be. 4 Likes |

Re: Yorubas And The Split Of Nigeria by deomelo: 4:17pm On Jul 20, 2018 |
izombie: Show us where we have or take that back as a lie. Kanu is nothing but a nuisance, a bigot, an anti social and disruptive element with zero core value or the interest of the ibo people at heart. There's nothing wrong with agitation or fighting for your freedom, but fighting for your freedom doesn't give you the right and liberty to insult and abuse, to spew bigotry and hate speech all over the place or promote and advocate harm and violence against Nigerians or issue terrorists threats against innocent Nigerians. Kanu did was a bad and, destructive and agitation spokesman for the ibo people and he did more damage than good because he alienated every sympathetic voice in Nigeria. Freedom and independence starts with your elected leaders from your states all the way to Abuja getting on the same page, lobbying, reaching out and drumming up support from every corner of Nigeria and abroad and eventually tabling your desire for INDEPENDENCE via a referendum. This is how sane and serious people do things, not sending a lunatic and a freeking terrorist out there to insult, spew trash, peddle hate speech and issue terrorist threats against innocent people. If I ruled the world, I'll give you your biafra this very second and get you off my neck. |

deomelo:In a way you can't really blame them. Less than 100yrs ago, you were likely to get shot with a poisoned arrow by a naked Igbo man in the jungle while the Yorubas already had kingdom, were politically savvy and fighting wars. |
Re: Yorubas And The Split Of Nigeria by mercyville: 5:12pm On Jul 20, 2018 |
Kingosytex: You should have said that Igbos are not warriors like the Yorubas who had fought wars for a 100 years home and abroad undefeated.Remember, the only victory you had in the civil war was when a Yoruba man,Banjo led your lilly livered Ojukus until Miss Ojuku assassinated him.You irked Yorubas into joining the war and crushed you were. The bizarre thing is boko haram has been in war with Nigeria for more than 7 years and yours was 2-3 years, isn't it bizarre .. |
Re: Yorubas And The Split Of Nigeria by izombie(m): 9:18pm On Jul 20, 2018 |
deomelo:so you want to hope on people who share in the national cake to come fight for you? They are primarily the reason why naija is the way it is now. You talk about referendum but the hausa fulani made sure that there is nothing like that in the constitution. You can say what you want about kanu but the fact remains that kanu shook the country up. He even made the hausa fulani to consider restructuring. Now that he's not here please tell me the last time you heard about restructuring.. |

dawno2008: What is your obsession with the Yorubas?, Yorubas will NOT lead any USELESS agitation for the disintegration of this country. May be after 56 years we will think about it, for now we enjoyed watching you guys gnash your teeth in pains. |

deomelo: You get time to dey explain things to them, when they are tired, they will all THINK HOME. They sat down in the remotest areas of Nigeria to scream secession, as if they are being held down at gun point in those areas. |

ba7man: It is called OBSESSION. They've been like this since Azikiwe failed to become the premier of SW. Awon WEREY, we keep telling them that non of the seven sons of Oduduwa goes by the name Igbo, but they are just too obsessed with us. It was so bad that they mistook us for MALO, and decided to LIBERATE us instead of themselves way back 1967, and up till now, they still can't get over that inability to annex Yoruba land. 2 Likes |

Re: Yorubas And The Split Of Nigeria by MetaPhysical: 2:57am On Aug 01, 2018 |
izombie: Not everything is about splits. If you were a husband, is the way Ibos cry for split the way you would shout for divorce everytime your wife offends you? If you were a wife, will you not think of your investments in the household and restrain thoughts of separation everytime your husband cheats? I do not bellitle household and domestic problems neither glorify cheating but when you look at human conditions somethings are better endured with sacrifices so a more successful circumstance can evolve. Our priority is restructuring, not separation. We dont have to be in same boat with you Ibos, quite honestly we don't want to. Separation works for you, fine. We do not see separation as a solution for us. Remember that Ibo is ethnically in Nigeria only. Yoruba on the other hand has ethnicity in four West Africa countries. If we were separating from Nigeria we would desire that our other groups also separate from their respective sovereign nations so we can exist as a true Yoruba nation with one religion, one language, one culture and one destiny. Its easier said than done! |
