Every player that i have mentioned as overage, i have evidence to back it up.

It's a clear case of conflict of interest. This is not Nigerian politics. Yusuf is done. The NFF will have to follow FIFA standards in handling this issue as they have to protect their integrity.

Bro I know its illegal, but if you want to catch a thief allow him to steal, don't force stolen money into his hands.

The undercover attempt for me wasn't entirely successful in nabbing the coach. The agent could have allowed him to make demands no matter how small.

If your papers are complete and you still bribe police guy na you sabi. Hope you gerrit

You don't understand me okay

Seems all about all our 18 players or so in the under20 team is overage sir Tbaba and you should give us proof also.

Seems he has give proof that the guy is 18 so be it

Then he should give proof of all the players that they are over age

He provided proofs regarding wasiu Alalade..infact I even read a 2014 article posted here about wasiu when he was playing in NNL..
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 7:01pm On Jul 27, 2018
You re very constructive in your arguments. I like that. If any of you don't believe the guy is 18 make valid points at least.

tbaba1234:

I speak from evidence. I do not not just accuse blindly. If i say, a player is overage, it is because i saw evidence, not because of anything else

A boy that was still in secondary school in 2015 is very unlikely to be 26/27. He is not like some players in the under 20 team who had already graduated form higher institutions at that time.

Nigeria U15 line up for the final against Morocco. It is currently 2-1 to Morroco with 60mins played. Notice Omidiji started on the bench again

3:1 Morocco

Game over.. we get silver

3-1 to Morocco U15 now. More importanly, let's wait and see what the NFF have planned for this crop of players

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 7:26pm On Jul 27, 2018
It’s 3-1 now.

Wolvesampton are experiencing a revolution, a great one for that considering the quality of players they have brought in. They are looking like a team that could atleast land an Europa league place next season, if things work out well for them.

Pepe, Joao Moutinho and Adama Traore are their prime targets now. I hope they join soon

Too bad our over hyped Iorfa is no where in the picture while the less talked about Enobakhare is one of the fulcrums of the team, in the attacking position precisely.

No thanks to leukemia, Ikeme would have been part of this good looking squad

The question we should be asking tbaba is if that lad was playing in NPFL or something will he bother his head before judging him as overaged?

I tend to see double standard on here (maybe its the Nigerian stigma)

I thought we played this same Morrocan side in our first match where our kids came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 with Lateef coming on from the bench to provide the last two assists.

The boys have done so well. Let the grooming continue

All three Nigerians who made the Gent 18man squad away to Liege in this opening jupiler league match start from the bench. But Uche Agbo starts for Liege.

Half Time scores 1v1

The reason, many of our players fail trials is poor fundamentals at the developmental stage.

Many of these foreign born players are not more talented, they just have better foundation. That is what matters at professional level. Many of our players have to start learning again when they go abroad.

The reason why France can use a bunch of African descent players to win the WC is because they provide them with good foundation.

We need to improve youth structure and especially coaching for kids from a very young age. The under 15 coaches should be given top quality training to measure up with their counterparts abroad.

Jerome Akor is based in Nigeria and i said clearly that he was one of the young kids in the under 20 team. Nazifi plays for Kano Pillars and i have also said, he is one of the young ones.

Are these not local lads??

Even this boy, did he not just sign a foreign contract?

This mischaracterization is based on false assumptions.

I only state someone is overaged only when i have verifiable info. I
do not just say, he is at home so he is overaged...

I also defend young boys who are classified as overaged based on the assumption that all players cheat.

Using your principle unit of measurement. It's like saying there are no corrupt politicians in Nigeria. Because effectively nobody has been convicted. in otherwords no verifiable information to prove they are corrupt.

In the same vein it's like saying there are no corrupt policeman.

I am in touch with local football in Nigeria. And part of the business modeler all the football academies was always to shave off the age of players to make them more attractive to European football clubs.

Age cheating is intrinsic to our society there is no facet of life official and or otherwise, that is not affected by age cheating in Nigeria.

Your approach is to give the benefit of the doubt when there is overwhelming doubt. That's to be biased, emotive and unbalanced, essentially delusional

We are not a people known for integrity. It's often said that leadership of a country reflects the people of that country.

The reality is we all know the dynamics of our country and some of us want to pretend

It's like saying that we have continously had free and fair elections in Nigeria because thier have been almost zero convictions for election rigging.

LETS BE REAL.

We could say vice versa that until I have substantiated irrefutable evidence of someone's date of birth he or she is age cheating. The choice is yours.

There are a lot of corroborating points to buttress our claims against many politicians in Nigeria. Many of which do not even have a case to answer in court. In this respect your analogy does not apply against tbaba.

Sir Tbaba you pretty much hit the nail on the head..naturally a lot of African players are talented but wrong foundation has been a serious issue...we really need to develop the game in Africa from a young age with really good coaches to give this players better foundation. We would always lag behind the world if we don't fix this issues..

We were really lucky during the 94 era that we had so many talented footballers that we looked like world beaters..sometimes how I wish someone like jayjay was brought up in europe, he would have been so unplayable, by the time he got serious, he was already reaching his late twenties...he himself confessed that a 15years old European is more knowledgeable and smarter on the field of play than a 30 years old African.. .the truth is there is more to soccer than just running around chasing ball..
